Palpatine
Palpatine (AKA Darth Sidious) began his rise to power as an ambitious Senator in the Galactic Republic. He convinced Anakin Skywalker to turn to the dark side and become Darth Vader. He later took control as the ruler of the most feared tyrannical regime in the galaxy, with Darth Vader as his right-hand man.
