Anakin as ANAKIN , was troubled, conflicted, obviously you all know that, so I'd imagine his whinyness is due to that. As Vader He committed for the 1st time to What HE wanted,POWER, so he was content, for a while. Luke ,well I'd be whiny to growing up on Tatooine ..lol. Luke grew out of it by ROTJ, IMO.
