Jedi Mind Trick didn't work with Jabba

Did you notice that the Jedi mind trick didn’t work on Jabba the Hutt in Return of the Jedi? And had no effect on Watto in episode one. Are they both from the same species? I think so…. What do you think?

I think you're an @#$%.

Guys, guys, guys. This dude is obviously fairly young. Can we not once in a while not berate our fellow hu-mans for silly questions? Or at least let me berate them first?

Wow! Do you honestly think Toydarians and Hutts are the same species, despite their obvious physical differences? I didn't see any wings on Jabba, did you?

Me too! I can go there to look up something real quick, but then I end up on there for an hour...just clicking on different links and learning more about different things. Yep, I've wasted many hours just jumping all around that site!

I've been using it for research, for the fan film...It's a friggin' awesome source!!!

Maybe Jabba was a toydarian with a thyroid problem. 'Course the whole Jabba THE HUTT may throw a monkey wrench in that theory. Ok...maybe Watto was a dwarf Hutt, except he says IN THE MOVIE he's a toydarian. Then again I noticed the jedi mind trick didn't work on Jabba because I can read subtitles. Hmm...it's a serious noodle scratcher...

As for Wookieepedia I'm sure most swear it doesn't exist cuz they they spell it wrong. LOL

Actually Watto spoke Huttese, as did most of the residents of Tatooine.

The Maker asked: "I didn't see any wings on Jabba, did you?"

He was sitting on them. I swear I saw one sticking out somewhere under the tail. It twitched! Or maybe that was all that remained of the Toydarian he had for dinner. Wimpy Hutts never can take the wings. Get stuck in their throats. Man, you don't want to see one of them trying to cough them up--makes a farting Bantha seem attractive.

"He was sitting on them." Huh...I've never known any species to have their wings located on their buttocks. Very interesting... ;)
