I'm a huge fan of Star Wars--so therefore I'm also a huge fan of Spaceballs.
Lucas himself approved this great film, and all the characters are back -- G4 TV is premiering the animated version of Spaceballs on 9/21. Same flavor as the film, and even the original actors are back to voice the characters!

I just saw this recently !! I am so excited.. I loved the original movie. I know at least the actress who played Princess Vespa is doing the voice for her character as she was on one of the late nite shows

Did anyone have a chance to check out the premiere of “Spaceballs: The Animated Series" on September 21?
I’m working with G4 on the show and would love to get feedback from fans, positive and negative. Also, if you missed out, we built out a web site around the show which you can find at http://www.bounceyourspaceballs.com.
And if you haven’t even heard of the show, there are some teaser clips you can check out at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=89IGzAvik1E http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HfLgBjf0-Qk&feature=user. Thanks!

need feedback; I loved the spaceballs movie but I don't want to spoil that by watching the animated series if they're not as good... did someone watched it?

I agree with Forceseeker...that Clone Wars movie was a good spoof.

My vote goes to robot chicken....but I'm biased I love Robot Chicken

Yeah actually my vote would be for Robot Chicken. That whole conversation with Palpatine about the Death Star blowing up, and Ponda Baba being mistranslated are classic. Plus I hated that "I Had the Time of My Life" music number in Family Guy was lame and way too long.

I agree with you there, Dave, on the music number. But Cleveland being R2, and poppin a cap at the tie fighters...LOL
