I've been waiting for this movie to come out ever since I saw the commercial on the super bowl. What's your take on it? Do you belive it's going to be dissapointing or deliver a good story with lots of action?
Perselonaly I hope they don't change slot of the main idea, but in the end almost all movies do.

It looks to be a horrible disappointment. I won't waste my money on this movie in the theatres, maybe dvd or even if it happens to be on Stars or something in a few months.

I heard today that a film critic ripprd it to shreds. The previews at the theater look good but I think it's gonna suck bad. Not a big Mummy fan either.

Well that is to be expected. This movie is not out to win any Academy Awards or anything, it's just to be a summer popcorn movie. am I gonna watch it? Perhaps, probably not opening weekend, cuz like Boobius, I have a connection t bootleg movies :D

I think you're all getting a little carried away here. It's a summertime action movie based on an old cartoon. I don't think it looks great either, but they'll blow $hit up, there will be fights, and there will be hot chicks in tight clothes. I'm seeing it. If it sucks, then all I lost was $7-8 on a matinee, and two hours of my life that I would've spent watching ESPN and making sure my puppy doesn't poop in my house.
If you hate something you haven't even seen yet, then yeah,.. you're probably not going to like it, since you've already made up your mind.

I despise what are called "chick flicks"! Give me an action movie or a sci-fi movie any day over an estrogen filled hanky movie any day and I'll be as happy as a pig in a wallow!

That's not what I despise about chick flicks. Granted, I like a chick flick now and again. What I don't like is how, just because I'm a woman, I'm supposed to adore a chick flick and despise an action/adventure movie. Puh-leaze. Most of my favorite movies are sterotyped as "Guy Films".
