This sucks. Hopefully there isn't Spiderman or Ironman mixed with Mickey Mouse...

I think as long as Disney stays out of Marvels creative department or produces any of the films, it should be good
I'm wondering if there will be a conflict with Universal because they have Marvel rides

I honestly don't think Disney will intervene with Iron Man 2 or any other projects that are int he works. I simply think they bought Marvel was to cornor the entertainment market and gain some super hero's. Sure your going to see mickey mouse dressed as spider-man, big deal he was dressed as Luke Skywalker too.

Miley Cyrus will not be playing Mary Jane.
* Goofy is not a skrull.
* Tinkerbell is not being retconned into taking The Wasp's place in the original Avengers lineup.
This is huge news to be sure, but besides a ton of paperwork for corporate zombies and Kevin Feige, what does it mean for us fans? To be honest, it's way too soon for us to be moaning and groaning over this. While Disney gets (and sometimes earns) a bad rap, there's a lot to be excited about. They've shown they can keep their Mickey Mouse gloves off, when necessary (see: Miramax and Pixar) and, as everyone has pointed out, this gives them the young male audience demographic they've been looking to entice for so long! That sounded creepy. Saying all that, Disney bigwigs know they have to be careful on this one. They are now in ownership of a potentially significant money making machine. As well as Marvel has done, they haven't come close to reaching their potential with their vast property. Add the 5000 characters to the all-mighty Disney marketing machine and you are on a whole new playing field.
As I said, it's too early to project (Dr.) doom and gloom. I'm cautiously optimistic and for the time being will continue to make mine Marvel! For more on this matter, make sure you check out the Editorial below!

When I got off of star tours an my star wars addicted younger cousin saw Disney characters as star wars characters (he's 4) he said that was the most stupid thing ever (lol). I have to agree with him. And now he's gonna see "spidermouse" and "iron mouse" and think the same thing, and so are a bunch of other people.

Well at least it was not the other way around. I shudder to think what would of happen had it been Marvel that bought Disney out :( And I disagree with you 0553 Disney World has always been a place of joy and some of my very few happy childhood memories.

Well... it's a plural world, there are things you like or dislike, if you enjoy Disney World it's cool, i respect your opinion, but because you love Disney so much, not nessesarily all the peolpe have to do it.

"Disney’s acquisition does notaffect the deals for movies in place at other movie studios, such as Spider-Man and X-Men at 20th Century Fox."
Ok,the abomination factor that is a continuation of the Spidey franchise was a definitely known happening as best I recall however hold the F up and wait a god-damn minute....
There's potential for another train wreck of a "movie" (loosely applied word here) for the X series?

I think this is more from an animation stand point. Imagine Pixar making an X-Men movie that everyone wanted? I would reserve judegement before jumping off the ship when it is not necessary.
