Well, 20-something movies might be a stretch, but it'd be one cool tv series, if done in TV-14 style animation or CGI.

Yeah, the NJO, though if it was a movie it may have to be a trilogy etc, and even then that might be condensing down the books considerably. That said, large feats have been tried and succeeded in book to film adaptations
