What do you most look forward to finding out? I want to see how the relationship between a clone and a certain Jedi works out. How about you?

Kalin, I believe he's refering to the next installment of the Republic Commando series. It's title (I think) is simply "Order 66."
Anyway Thrawn, yes I'm curious to see how that relationship works out, too. I was just wondering what they all would do when they caught up with Ko Sai (sp?), but we already found that out, so whatever happens next should be interesting.

***SPOILERS FOR 'HARD CONTACT' AND 'TRIPLE ZERO' FOLLOW***
I'll be interested to find out...
1. How well Fi has recovered from his injuries.
2. If the rest of the Cuy'Val Dar take issue with the Republic's chain-of-command for dispatching the covert ops troopers to assassinate an ARC trooper on Gaftikar. They didn't train clones to kill other clones after all.
3. How the Nulls and Omega Squad react to seeing their brothers used to overthrow the government and establish an Empire run by darjetti spoon benders.
4. Whether Omega Squad and Delta Squad respond to Order 66 in dissimilar ways.
5. How much contingency planning Kal Skirata has undertaken, because I'm pretty sure he knows that hard times are ahead.

sorry, the maker... didn't know... Well that should be interesting then. Hope they expand the story on that...

C'mon, Wade, you forgot the most important part of O66, the possibility of a certain pair of Cul'vay Dar (namely our alter egos) making an appearence ;)
For my part, I'm looking forward to seeing the characters again, period. Delta and Omega have both taken on lives of their own within the pages of Karen's books, and watching them go from newly decanted soldiers to young men discovering a wider world to hardened vets has been an emotional and yet thrilling ride.
I can only hope that this isn't the end of their stories, and that Karen will get to continue to tell what happens to the scrappy little band of misfits.
I think one thing some fans miss is that Karen isn't writing about the GAR or even the RC's as a whole, but she's writing about the lives of this small band of individuals who have found each other in an insane time, which has lead to some honestly touching moments.

I'll admit it. I'm crossing my fingers that Mij Gilamar and Wad'e Tay'haai see some action in Order 66. Is that shameless of me? Oh well, I can live with that. ;-)
And I'm in total agreement with you. I really hope the story continues beyond Order 66. It seems to me that there's a treasure trove of possibilities.
And why not incorporate a few character cameos into the TV series? I'd be willing to don a buy'ce and play the role of a certain Cuy'val Dar skilled in the finer points of covert operations. "I'm ready for my close-up Mr. Lucas."

Indeed Nameless Mandalorian. I think "epic" would apply in this situation. Note that it's not being marketed as "Republic Commando: Order 66." Rather, LFL and Del Rey are promoting it as *THE* definitive tome pertaining to Order 66. It's entitled "Star Wars: Order 66 (A Republic Commando Novel)." The scale will indeed be huge!

I've never read the Republic Commando series, but apparently you guys are very passionate about it. I'll have to read it after I'm done what I'm working on...the Thrawn trilogy...NJO...Swarm Wars...LotF...Salvatore's Sellswords...Summoner...bah I'll get to them eventually ;)

I mentioned this before in another thread, but I hope for some connection between Mandalore during the time of RC and Mandalore during the time of LOTF. Who's still alive, who isn't? I need to go back and read Traviss' last LOTF novel to see if there was any mention of Venku. I have a bad feeling about this, though. That this story is going to end tragically for at least some of our beloved Mando'ade.

I believe the next RC title is Order 66, don't know if they changed it recently. I hope it will EPIC and be the most authorative info about Order 66 so far to be released. Hopefully the clones don't make the connection of Venku and Etain and have Venku survive.

*****SPOILER ALERT******
I just started reading Revelation and I noticed in the Personae Dramatis there is a character named Venku. Looks like at least he survives into the future.

Good things to know. Part of the fun is when a character that has to survive is up to his neck in trouble and wondering how he's going to manage to get out of it. On a sidenote- Does anyone have anything definate on the release date?

The release date for Order 66 keeps getting pushed out which depresses me to no end.. the current date according to Amazon is September 16th 2008.
I'm real interested to see which RC's will go against Order 66.. I'm inclined to think that at least part of Omega will defy the order. And I'm worried that Kal is going to get his shebs blown off trying to get his boys and the hang-alongs he's accumulated to safety. Now that we know Bardan makes it, I'll be surprised if Etain does.

I don't want to spoil anything for anybody, BUT
I love the links between Travis' RC books and LOTF books. You get to see where they started out, and how they ended up, and it looks like it will be up to ORDER 66 to fill in the gaps.
A bit off topic: Does anyone remember what color armor Skirata and Vau wear?

I'm inclined to believe that Omega will disobay the order while Delta tries to follow it. It wouldn't surprise me if a lot of people die and I feel that they've set Vau up for a heroic, yet tragic end. Perhaps even against his own boys. I can't wait!
