Re:Republic/Imperial Commando series

True Colours.
First of all i really liked Kal. It was very intresting to see into the thoughts of Kal and see what he thought about the clones aswell as how he trained them. A tough man who had lots of kids that he would give his life for, and was ready to adopt as many more as possible and needed. He was just great, he clicked with me, all his worries about his 'sons' but yet he still had toughness and was very commanding.
I liked the different insights into Kal and co on how to act around everyone and how they felt in diferent peoples companies.
The actual story/plot i didn't really understand and seemed a bit strange but it was ok. When ever the events of Hard Contact, especially the relatonship between Darman and Etain, it seemed to give off the impresion that more happened than actually did. Etain seemed to be describing feelings that she apparently had in HC towards Darman. In HC Etain seemed more fascinated by Darman being a clone and his age than actually Darman as a human. The whole thing of Darman and Etain having a baby could have been better explanied with more detail. I would have thought that Darman would have been a bit confused on what to do, and even if he was in love. I thought that he might discuss this with Etain or Kal atleast but he didn't really.
Overall i thought it was quite good. The plot could have been better. The different insights into people's thoughts was good. Etain and Darman's relationship could have been better.
