Despite the obvious lack of popularity of this forum, I'm sure there are many fans of the minis game out there. What kind of miniatures do you like to collect? Why? What tactics do you use? Any suggestions for new minis or boards or anything? Do share.

Let's see, I personally like to collect Republic Clones. My current fav squad runs with a Clone Trooper, Clone Trooper Commander, General Obi-Wan Kenobi, and RC-Scorch.

I love them, su'cuy Aden. i just got nearly all the clone wars set, i bought a case of them which i ended up being sort 6 rares/very rares, since then ive picked up two of those, so now im only sort both anakins, general grievous and the clone on gelagrub, once/if i can get those i would have completed the set, it will be my first complete set, it helps that there is only 40 rather than the old 60 in the set.
Im loving the star corps clones from that set and durge is really good. I also through some other worldly means managed to get the Felucian Warrior on Rancor in a box, not played it yet but looking forward to playing it against Vader's Apprentice, Unleashed.

That sounds awesome. I just picked up a KotOR box, and got a HAn Solo, Smuggler mini, plus a Mandalorian Quartermaster, Jawa Scout, Czerka Scientist, Juggernaut War Droid, Shyrack, etc. Oh, and I bought Republic Commando: Scorch and Mandalorian Gunslinger as singles.

Those are some good minis, the mando gunslinger is a good one, and all the republic commandos are fun to play although i always felt they could have been more powerful really.
I just picked up two quartermasters so i know have at least one of every kind from the mandalorian mini (not including Jango sadly).
As for buying cases i think its a lot cheaper in the long run if you can afford to buy a case, especially now the sets are 40 instead of 60, your almost guaranteed to get at least 8 rares as i did, if your lucky you could get 10 or 11.
I haven't got the Han, Shyrack or Czerka Scientist so well done on those. I do go way to far myself when buying minis, i have a huge collection but still haven't completed a single set, im hoping that ill be able to finish Clone Wars. Im getting 3 of the four very soon its just Grievous thats the problem.

ONly ever went after the ones related to Darth Maul for my collection and never played. Only minis game I ever really enjoyed was Wizkids Pirates games. Those were fun.

Indeed he does, i just picked up Darth Krayt, not played him yet but looking forward to it, just need to get Darth Talon and Cade Skywalker and i can have a big Legacy battle.

I just managed to track down a General greivous from the clone wars set, i only need Anakin on a stap and i would have completed the set, it will be my first complete set
