I didn't have a problem with jango's death,I actually felt it.was kind of kool,

For the fact that ,the way he took out the charging beast with one shot showed his skill was sic with the blaster.And Mace was a top Jedi Knight.

As for Boba witnessing the death of his father,it was dark but the Title is " Revenge of the Sith"!!! Not "Return of the Jedi"
And Jango and Boba Fett delt in death remember Boba put in work in AOTC on Kamino he tried to blast Obi-Wan and he was enjoying the fact his father was trying to destroy Obi-Wan's starfighter .

And that would help fuel Boba's hatred for the Jedi.
