that is quite controversial, podrace scene is awesome and darth maul rocks, but i have to go with Empire Strikes Back.

TPM is good but maybe not the best of the series but I tend not to rank them as I love all 6 movies.

Can anyone say why they think TPM is the best? Overall, I gotta go with ESB for story line and ROTS for fx. If I had to pick one, it's ESB.

well, if you were a kid, you'd probably like it. however, i don't like it. Jar Jar ruined the whole thing. maby his fate will be revealed in the force unleashed!

Totally agree. Jar Jar was the biggest mistake ever in the series (and even kids find him incredibly annoying). I am still holding out hope for a director's remix that cuts him out of the story completely.

You make me cry. 1st off, Jar Jar....sigh. Secondly, the boy who played Anakin wasn't all that great. However, the Darth Maul fight scenes were the best in the series, if not in any movie I have ever seen. They made a mistake by killing him off in the 1st movie. Oh well, add to the pile.

If GL did TPM first, the movie studio propbably would not have backed his other movies. Thank goodness he did episode 4 first.
The Empire Strikes Back & Revenge of the Sith are tied as the best movies of the series IMO.
