Grey Jedi

Those who walk the shadows. Cast out by the Order for daring to view the Force as more than just Light and Dark. They use their skills to follow their own paths, be it bounty hunter, mercenary, body guard, treasure hunter, scholar or wanderer. Their lives are often lonely and spent in hiding. Hunted by some out of fear or hatred. The path of the Grey Jedi is fraught with peril and adventure.

There are few who wander past the boundaries that a Jedi may venture, even fewer are able to resist the madness that they encounter, but for the fraction who survive the ascendance, they become an entity more powerful than Jedi or Sith, because the are able to view the force not as two halves, but a whole. Jedi believe them to have gone rogue, Sith do not believe they possess enough power, but they will be the ones who will determine the future of the galaxy. They are referred to as grey Jedi, you may call them what you want, it does not mater. My name is Rogan, and I am one of those few.

Maybe if you used Just For Men, you wouldn't be grey anymore...

I learned the arts of the Force, and I see it as it truly is, not as the Jedi or Sith do. I am Dasutin, and I am also a Grey Jedi.

Can one truly use both sides? The Jedi may fall from their image of grace, but the Sith can do naught but what the darkness compels.

Grey Jedi may not be able to achieve the same mastery of the Force as a truth Sith or Jedi as they cannot completly surrender to the Force as either of those would. However, they would have access to many abilites often attributed to the Light or the Dark. A good example would be Force Choke. Imagine a Grey Jedi using his abilities to infiltrate a facility and using Force Choke to silently kill a guard, then later using Force Heal to heal a comrade. They would be no match for a Dark Jedi Master or Jedi Master in a one-on-one confrontation, but that would not be a battle they would want anyway.

I am Jhon Sislou I fought during the clone wars with the Jedi order and I served with the Empire. I am powerfull in both the light and the dark. Light cant exist with out shadow, and dark cannot exist with out light.I am a complete Jedi I use both to my advantage there is no Sith there is no Jedi there is only the force. I AM A GREY JEDI and I welcome all my brothers and sisters, Rogan and Dasutin we are rare breed my brothers but it will be us and our order which will be left standing in the end.

*Bron sits with the Gray Jedi*

Greetings I am Bron Jast, I follow the Light but I just wanted to go somewhere different today, away from the Jedi/Sith war. Neutral territory to speak.

The ability to both Choke and Heal someone is not limited to "Grey", and the first mentioned parts are not limited to their respective "sides".

A Sith may learn to Heal using the force if he/she wishes so, and this is true for the Jedi too.
It is the both sides viewpoints that limits them, not the force itself.

Cool place, I like it here, I'm tired of all the Sith and Jedi recruiting garbage, I love the force and am slowly mastering each ability. I hope all goes well for you Grey Jedi and take care.

Greetings fellow force users. I am Jacen Molare, a scholar and friend to all who follow the will of the force.

Would I be right in saying that you Grey Jedi follow the teachings of the Potentium?

Dec 8, 2007 10:50 AM | Report Abuse reply

In response to Dementis, I must respectfully disagree. As Master Yoda has said, a Jedi uses the Force for defense, never to attack. As such, using Force Choke, which is obviously an attack, would violate the Jedi way. The ability of a Dark Side Force user to heal themselves is know, however, the ability to heal others is not a Dark Side trait. If it were, Lord Vader would have been able to heal his bride. Healing others would clearly violate a Darksider's ways that speak to selfishness.

The Potentium offers a whole view of the Force. Ones actions determine if they are "light" or "dark". However, mastery does require one to surrender themselves to one side or the other to unlock it's ultimate secrets. I prefer the middle. I have no need to be a master, for I am master of my own actions.
