Sekhmet had had an idea, one that she had been chewing on since she first saw the ship land. But had been jolted out of the final stages of it with the offer of a bug for her ear.....she arched an eyebrow, as she looked at Kaaliyani's ear and took a breath to speak her thoughts, but quickly changed her mind, she could see that Kaaliyani was sincere, in what Sekhmet assumed was the same offer that other Sentients in the galaxy make by offering the availability of their homes.

"There is no need for that on my behalf." Sekhmet said quickly as she hugged Nyx tight, kissing her head, strapping them both in, at the same time. "I know of you Kaaliyani." Sekhmet peered around the tousled head of Nyx, into a now very quizzical face. "I heard an impassioned speech on the floor of the Imperial Senate once, you are an eloquent speaker and understand policy, and diplomacy well." Sekhmet grinned as Kaaliyani studied her closely.

Tilting her head in the direction as she spoke, "it's not too far, five clicks East, Northeast." Pausing slightly as she felt Nyx's forehead, which was slightly warm, frowning before she continued. "You will have to fly low over the canopy, there is a danger from the native Raptors, some are as big as this ship." "But they won't dive beneath the foliage, and if one targets us, we will have to add superior pilot to your list of accomplishments!" Sekhmet smiled sideways, one which quickly disappeared as the inevitable sounds of clanking metal and whirring of a now audibly frantic voice of JC33, slipping precariously faster down a now closing ramp.

Watching Kaaliyani power up her ship, Sekhmet took in its components, she could see where Master Lao Tzu had gotten some of his ideas when he built Indra. But with the sounds of the ship diminishing after lift-off, Sekhmet began filling in Kaaliyani about her initial concerns before the kidnapping, how a dark energy came in the form of the late Empress, a stolen necklace, a murdered Commando. Expressly laying out minutely, the schematics of the Temple ruins on Aaris III, the small detail of Commandos now guarding Ranik, the stranger who seemed to be controlling everything, the Carbonite Sith Army, and the ships in orbit, a myriad of details were slipping out quickly and in rapid succession, but that didn't deter Kaaliyani as she drank in all the information in quiet thoughtfulness. Sekhmet spoke of Dira still on scout over looking the draw, of the yellow flowers that detected the Force, and how they grew prolifically outside of the ruins and of the purple ones that spewed acid, of the Kohuuns. Sekhmet felt a weary head lay against her shoulder, looking down she saw with relief, two eyes now shut and the soft breathing of a child fast asleep.

"ahhh." Sekhmet said softly. Raising only her head slightly she continued, in hushed tones. "Now that sleep has finally come, we may speak openly." "Stymie." Sekhmet paused as her throat slightly closed. She hadn't realized how far she had pushed the emotion beneath the surface until now. Catching herself and taking a deep breath she continued in earnest. "He hasn't checked in, I cannot sense the dark energy that inhabits his prothesis, and what you should also know....we may be the last line of defense in protecting Ranik." "I have not heard from Giiselle, Dira, nor my Brothers at the Temple." Sekhmet looked at her square in the eye. "I cannot ask you to join in this battle Kaaliyani, to risk your life, but I must admit to you, I am in desperate need of an ally."
