The Typhon System
The Typhon System was a trinary system consisting of 20 planets, located on the very furthest tip of the Tingel Arm. The system was ruled by the Typhon Republic. It was an enormously peaceful system, without any trace of military or weapons. The Typhon System was one of the first systems to pledge allegiance to the Galactic Republic, and its government was dissolved shortly after doing so. The Typh were the only sentient species to ever evolve in or visit the system, until the time of the Galactic Republic.
The Typh were best known as peaceful people. The Typhon Republic was devoid of weaponry, fighting, violence, or even the smallest military. Racism, discrimination, and persecution were completely alien to the Typh. A very community-oriented society, the Typhon Republic ephasized working for the greater good -- entire planets were dedicated to farming or mining, the fruit of whose labours would be shared with the republic. A Typh was allowed to persue any career he/she desired, marry whomever he/she wanted, and live anywhere he/she wished to.
Architecturally, the Typh were very eclectic. Large, airy spaces were prevalent in all Typh buildings, but their styles ranged greatly. On Typhon Prime, tall, simple, imposing buildings dominated cities. On Typhon Eta, clean, sparkling towers lined the streets. And on Typhon Beta, metal and glass, organic-looking buildings could be found.
Traditional Typh attire often included a waist-floor length robe, a light sleeveless shirt, one bracelet on each wrist, a vest, and occasionaly a staff, walking-stick, or cane. Colour and material of Typh dress varied greatly. On more agricultural worlds, robes were made of rougher linen, but on richer planets/during formal occasions, fine silk clothing was addorned. Colour of clothing ranged from black to white to purple to blue, and occasional, red. It was not often that a Typh's vest, shirt and robe all matched colours, as it was a cultural taboo, whose roots ran so deeply into Typh history that no one remebered how such a rule came to be. Male and female attire differed little, most notably that female Typh would often wear some kind of headress, and men's robes were often looser.

Typhon System:
Primaries (stars)
Typha
Typhe
Typhi
The Typhon Republic was confined to the Typhon System, despite its knowledge of interstellar travel. All inhabitable/useful planets/moons were under Republic control. They are as follows:
Typhon Prime (capital)
Typhon Prime was the central planet of the Typhon System, as well as the capital of the Typhon Republic. Republic City, located on Typhon Prime, was home to some of the most important buildings in the Republic.
Typhon Alpha
Typhon Alpha was the second planet of the Typhon System, and a member of the Typhon Republic. It was a barren, desert planet, almost unlivable, due to its proximity to the three suns and heavy CO2 rich atmosphere, causing a greenhouse effect
Typhon Beta
Typhon Beta was the second planet of the Typhon System, and a member of the Typhon Republic. It was one of two oceanic planets in the system, but unlke Typhon Pi, it had a single continent on its surface, where the entirety of its 52 million Typh population lived.
Typhon Delta
Typhon Delta was the fifth planet of the Typhon System, and a member of the Typhon Republic. Typhon Delta was home to an enormous population, due to its enormous cities -- 2 cities covered largely each the north-eastern and south-western hemispheres. Small oceans covered some of the planet's surface, and also forest land was abundant.
Delta IV
Delta IV was the fourth moon of the planet Typhon Delta. The moon was dedicated specifically to the task of agriculture and food production, a process, which was, of course, controlled entirely by The Agriculture Guild. Delta IV was remarkable in the fact that it was a very rich moon, despite its farming economy. Large, thriving cities dotted the moon, where rich, happy people dwelled and worked.
Retrieved from "http://swfanon.wikia.com/wiki/Delta_IV"
Typhon Epsilon
Typhon Epsilon was the sixth planet of the Typhon System, and a member of the Typhon Republic. It was a rather small gas giant in comparison to others in the system. A large miming operation, known as the Epsilon Gas Mining Concern was responsible for the mining of gases such as Tibana Gas and Oxygen for export. The planet had only 3 cities on it, floating high above the planet's surface, each one a mining outpost.
Epsilon IIX
Epsilon IIX was the eighth moon of the planet Typhon Epsilon. It was a very small moon, home to only 9 million Typh. The planet's economy was agriculture-based, and was under the complete control of The Agriculture Guild. A small Republic VIP emergency base was set up on Epsilon IIX, as it seemed an unlikely place to look when searching for VIPs, in case of imminent threat.
Typhon Zeta
Typhon Zeta was the seventh planet of the Typhon System, and a member of the Typhon Republic. It was one of a number of major agriculture planets in the republic, due in part to its food production, as well as its 2 moons, Zeta I and Zeta II, of the same purpose. The Agriculture Guild had large outposts in many cities all over Typhon Zeta and its moons.
Typhon Eta
Typhon Eta was the richest planet of the Typhon Republic. It was home to all corporations in the republic, including the Typhon Mining Guild, the Typhon Nu Shipyards, and the Typh Bank of Commerce. The conglomerate of all these companys, Typhon Eta Corporate Federation, was also based on the planet.
Xi III
Xi III was the third moon of the planet Typhon Xi. It's surface was completely covered in water, save one very tall and steep mountain rising from below the water, known as The Typhon Spear. Xi III was scarcely inhabited, due to its lack of cities; the only settlement on the moon was a Typhon Republic Agriculture and Resource Corporation outpost, built on stilts over the water, used to harvest and transport water to planets such as Typhon Prime, or Typhon Alpha.
Typhon Pi
Typhon Pi was the 17th planet of the Typhon System, and a member or the Typhon Republic. It was the second oceanic planet in its system, but was very different than its sister -- Typhon Pi's climate was much wetter, and consisted of much precipitation, and also much colder. Also, Typhon Pi was home to no continental land, so vast cities were built under the ocean's surface; this complicated space-travel, and led to complex systems of elevator shafts to and from the surface.
---------------------------------
Chain of Command
The Chief of State of the Typhon Republic is the Grand Archon of the Typhon Republic. Though records of his total power are incomplete, it can be assumed that he held executive control over almost every vestige of the Republic; with the exemption of the Typhon Eta Corporate Federation, which was under the total authority of the Federate Chairman.
The Grand Archon's right-hand man, as it were, as well as Head of the Government, was simply titled Lord. He led the House of Lords in its daily affairs, as well as oversaw the government as a whole.
There is also the Typhon Mining Guild on Typhon Eta.

Tuskers ship, Meli, approaches Typhon Prime, at the request of the President of Kuat.
Landing in Republic City, Tuskers is taken to the Palace of the Grand Archon, an extravagant structure of immense size, to meet with the leader of the Typhon Republic.
"I am Grand Archon Palz. Welcome, Kage Tuskers to Typhon Prime. I hope that your stay here in the Republic will be pleasant."
After Palz and Tuskers move to a more private setting, "I need your help, Kage. My friend President D'Yar of Kuat tells me that you should be able to help me. . We are a peaceful people, and I believe our government to be under siege."
Tuskers raises an eyebrow, "I detected no fleets, and have seen no troops. I assume this is a siege of politics?"
Grand Archon Palz rises, and gets a couple glasses of wine. "Your insight serves you well. Many generations ago, gems of great beauty represented the planets of this Republic. The rulers of each planet kept the gem, and order was maintained. There were twenty gems, plus a rumored cradle that could contain the twenty gems. This cradle, with all twenty gems inserted, could be used as a powerful weapon."
"A weapon? I've heard that the Republic of Typhon is peaceful."
"This is true, we are a very peaceful people. I do not believe that this cradle even exists, rumors, children's stories even. But the gems are real."
Grand Archon Palz frowns, "The Council of the Elders is greatly worried about recent developments. If rumors are true, and some of the gems have been recovered, then it could shift the balance of power in the Typhon Republic. The people will back those who posses the gems, because they represent the power."
Tuskers asks, "But the Republic Congress represents the elected officials, why would someone follow the possessor of the gems?"
"The Republic Congress, the Typhon Eta Corporate Federation, and the House of Lords all live in a delicate balance. Adding a majority of the gems to any one of those factions could sway the people to shift the balance of power. It's all part of our peaceful society."
"So, you want the Grey help to find these gems?"
"Find out what you can. Recover the gems if possible. Seven have been lost for generations, three are here in this building. There are three that are with the Corporate Federation, and three with the House of Lords. That leaves one known gem in the possession of the Republic Congress."
"Perfect balance of power, except that your count is incomplete. I assume that is where your rumors have started? The other three gems?"
"Yes, they frequently tour to different museums to be viewed. But now they are all gone."
Tuskers looks thoughtful. "You need a police investigation to track down three missing gems, and to check any other rumors if any of the other missing seven have surfaced? I believe that the Grey Jedi could be up to the job."
"We are twenty planets, peaceful by nature, basically unarmed from your standpoint. If any one of our factions got more crystals, they would take control, but we are also worried about outside influences, such as if a Sith Lord decided that he wanted the wealth of our planets. I hope that you can help us."
"Is there anything else that I should know, before I begin investigating?"
"We have a complex balancing act with our government. My goal is to maintain things, although getting the Corporate Federation back into the main part of the government would be wonderful for our future prosperity, I am not going to ask you to help with that. It is an internal matter best handled by our own people. The main reason I've contacted you is that I feel that an outsider might be involved. Please, keep me in the loop of what you find."
Tuskers nods his head, "Sith Lords, and other power hungry individuals. Yes, we took great care on Kuat to make sure that the government would not be easily corrupted to benefit one person. You shall have my help, Grand Archon Palz."

Tuskers stops before exiting the room. "Grand Archon Palz, might I see the gems that are here before I start investigating? It might be helpful."
Palz pauses a second, "I hadn't thought of that. It's been ages since anyone has been in the vault. It may take a while to make the arrangements, but it seems like an excellent idea."
*Tuskers takes a minute and meditates, he also checks in with Meli, and she uses a scrambled radio frequency to check in with the Grey Temple. Since everything seems fine, Tuskers relaxes, and just enjoys a few minutes of quiet meditation.*
Grand Archon Palz returns. "An interesting thing about your request. It seems that no one has seen the gems here in quite some time. Of course, everything is monitored by cameras, and the three gems are very safe here."
*Tuskers frowns* "I've got a bad feeling about this."
"I find your lack of faith disturbing. These gems have been secure here for generations. The security systems are top of the line."

Along with the head of security for the facility, they head a lift, and proceed upwards.
Tuskers comments, “Interesting that you’d choose upwards instead of the traditional underground bunker.”
“Actually, the three gems are kept separate. To house them in the same vault invites disaster. I inspected the facility when I took office. Someone did a good job of designing the vaults.”
They approach a security checkpoint, and the guards start turning off systems to let them pass. After several minutes, they are standing at the door to a vault. There is a lot of dust on the floor.
“I guess bringing a cleaning crew is out of the question?” Tuskers jokes, but receives frowns in response.
The giant door swings open, and there is a pedestal in the middle of the room, it contains a fire red gem, slightly larger than a fist. Grand Archon Palz moves to step forward, but is stopped by the Security Chief. “Sir, the systems are still in place inside the vault. It will take a couple minutes to shut down the systems.”
Tuskers asks, “Is there anything toxic? Gas, or anything that would hurt us out here?”
“Sorry, sir, I cannot discuss that. I don’t even know all of the security systems. Fourteen people are deactivating systems right now. And they are not all in the same location. If one of them does not do their part, we cannot enter the room.” He gestures to a red light near the doorway.
They wait, and finally the light goes out. Cautiously entering the room, Tuskers notices the lack of dust on the floor here. “Lack of ventilation? That could make the room very stuffy if someone found themselves locked in here.”
They approach the gem, and Tuskers asks permission to pick it up. A key is produced, and a hidden lock is unlocked before permission is granted.
Tuskers frowns, and places a hand above the gem. Concentrating, he uses the Force power of Psychometry to examine the Gem. He feels echoes of the past, This gem does have Force powers, but it feels incomplete. He probes deeper, and can feel shockwaves of power and corruption. He cannot get a clear picture of what happened, but these gems are more than a symbol.
A hand on his shoulder interrupts his probing. “Kage? Are you okay? It’s been twenty minutes. We’d like to turn the security back on.”
Tuskers nods, and they leave the vault, moving to the next location.

As they approach another heavily fortified vault, Tuskers stops, “If you gentlemen could step back, I’d like to test your security.”
With their approval, Tuskers begins probing for the Gem with the Force. Getting a feel for the room, based on what he saw in the last room, he is able to find the gem, locate the security measures, and shut some of them down.
“Even though I saw the defenses in the last room, I can’t quite get this one down. Things are different here. Given enough time, I could probably get it out of there, but I don’t think that anyone could ever get past all the layers without setting off at least one alarm. You’ve got a good security system.”
“Shall we proceed forward, or have you seen enough here?”
“I’d like to probe this gem also, unless you gentlemen have more pressing matters? It might provide a clue to help me find other gems.”
“Of course…”
They wait through the lengthy procedure to enter the vault, and Tuskers probes this gem also. After a few minutes, he feels that he has wasted enough of their time.
While exiting the second vault, “The gems are very similar in feelings, but they have quite a difference in them. Were they ever housed on different planets?”
The Security Chief answers, “Oh, yes, each was kept on one of the twenty planets. Disaster would strike if the gems were ever brought together.”
Grand Archon Palz silences him. “I do not believe in these stories. They are made up to scare children.”
Tuskers looks thoughtful, “There could be something in the stories, some glimmer of truth. There is a little power in each of these gems, if combined with others… Who knows? Anything is possible.”

They finally arrive at the third vault, and when it cracks open, they all gasp in surprise.
“It’s empty. How could that be?”
“We shall start an investigation to find out how long it’s been missing.” The Security Chief replies.
“Kage Tuskers, we need your help more than ever.”
”And you shall have it. I shall go to contact some fellow Grey to assist with the investigation and search.”
*Tuskers leaves*

Turns to T47: Remember, my name is Faramir, got it? You call me Ashlar and we're both dead.
T47: And what am I to be called?
How about scrap pile? Ya, I like it, has a ring to it. *Laughs* I will call you XJ-90. How's that?
T47: A little wordy, but it'll work.
*Ash shakes his head and heads for the boarding ramp. As he exits the Jewel, his entire posture and demeanor changes. Ashlar now takes a back seat to Faramir. Faramir strides confidently through the crowds smiling at all the women and watching the men distrustfully. He heads for the seedier side of town.*

Well, I like to keep people on their toes. I do appologize if this unexpected visit causes you problems. But I am seeking to open trade negotiations with your humble system.
*as he speaks Scorp uses the force to determine if the man is truly suprised by his visit. sensing that he is, Scorp continues to "feel" this person out for any signs of deceit or betrayal as he speaks*
"Oh no sir. Your visit is a completely welcome suprise. I look forward to speaking with you in person. We have arranged a private hanger for you to land in."

I see we have the same tailor. Mr.......
"Yes sir, apparently we do. My name is Minister Fell of the Typhon Mining Guild, and you are?"
I am King Scorpius Kenobi. A humble jewel merchant.
"King you say? I have never heard of this title. What does it mean?"
*Fell extends his arm showing the way and Scorp walks with him as they exit the hanger and head for a bank of turbolifts. one of the doors open and they both step inside heading for the topmost floor of the tower*
Well my title is purely a title in name only. It was given to me by my wife. Generally speaking though a king is a monarch. It is a title given to a leader of a planet just as you yourself have your title, and the leader of your government has his title.
"Ah, I see. So King Scorpius, what can we do for you this day?"
Please, just call me Scorpius. I have heard stories and rumors that you mine some of the finest gems in all the known galaxy. But I am looking for a specific kind of gemstone.
"As you wish, Scorpius. And please call me Jax. The stories you have heard are quite true we mine the finest gemstones ever known to exist. We are even in negotiations to begin an operation of Corscua gems."
Impressive Jax. That is quite a dangerous operation from my understanding. But the gems I seek are something that your system holds in the highest regards.
"Ahhh, I do believe I know of the gems of which you speak. But in order to see them we will have to do an extensive security check on you."
Of, course. I understand that completely. When could we begin?
"Well unfortunately the bulk of our security teams have left for the day. We can begin first thing in the morning, if that is acceptable to you."
*as they continue to speak the lift reaches the top floor and the doors slide open and they step out to a large well lit room with black polished marble floors and white marble walls. large curtains hang by the open windows, waving and billowing in the breezes the circulate through the office. a large Wooshyr tree desk is sitting at the far end of the office along with Rancor hide chairs and smaller tables with lamps next to them*
"I like to keep the security windows open in the day time to let in the warm breezes. That and the sounds of the mining is quite soothing."
I see and it is very beautiful. *Scorp's thoughts drift for a moment to his wife and how she would love the view. he quickly brings his thoughts back to the moment and looks at the Minister* So, when can we begin the security check?
"First thing in the morning as soon as you are ready."
Good. Now do you have a place where I may rest for the evening?
"Of course. Please take the lift down two levels and there are any number of rooms down there you can take for the evening."
Very well. *he stands and bows low* Thank you for your hospitality.
"It is nothing at all." *the minister stands and bows as Scorp leaves and then sits down and begins to work*

Grut: "Well, I don't know anything about you friend."
*Faramir tosses a rare crystal Ashlar and Miran found during the course of one of their adventures onto the table*

"Yes, a Kessel blood stone"
Grut: "How did you get that?
"Are you a mor.on? How do you think I got it?"
Grut: "Ok, ok. There's something big coming up. Very similar to that. If you can get one of those from Kessel, this should be a breeze. You succeed and you earn 100,000 credits. You fail and you pay with your life. Want the job?"
*Faramir smiles*

"Well, I would have enjoyed Crystals company. You should have tried harder."

"Enough... Now, are we going to start meeting these Lords? I thought you said there were twenty? There are at least three times that number of couples here."

"Lord Lenol, of course. Thank you for having us at the party. This is my significant other, Leena."
Leena greets the Lord, "Lord Lenol, I'm charmed. If I may? We were told that there are twenty planets of the Typhon Republic, but there seem to be many more here."
"Twenty? Oh, no, dear lady... There are Sixty-Eight inhabited planets in the Typhon Republic. They represent twenty different orbits around the three primary stars."
Tuskers looks slightly confused, "I'm sorry, you said sixty-eight inhabited planets and moons? Well, that makes a search much more daunting."
"Kage Tuskers, whatever would you be searching for here?"
"Um, that's a story for another time, I guess. So, would you care to introduce us to some of the other Lords?"
Leena looks slightly overwhelmed at the idea of meeting sixty-eight Lords. Lord Lenol sees this, "Don't worry, dear lady, no one expects you to remember everyone. Just be pleasant, and your looks will charm them." Leena smiles at his comment.
