Located on various planets throughout the galaxy, the RGE equips and maintains safe houses to act as secure locations suitable for hiding witnesses, agents or other persons perceived as being in danger.
These safe houses are built to withstand attack should their location fall into the wrong hands. Inside the major cities and more urbanized locations, safe houses are built in the sub-levels to give added protection from orbital bombardment. Rural locations are built underground and usually have a home built over top of it to portect the secrets beneath it.
Capable of withstanding attacks for a prolonged time, they are more like mini fortresses than anything. All safe houses are built with cortosis reinforced duracrete walls and Dz5 security doors with enhanced defenses (ray shield projectors and pop-out disrupters). Access to all safe houses are facilitated through a special code cylinder given to people with proper clearance. Any code cyilinder that is considered compromised has its codes immediately removed from the system. If one of theses codes, a fake code, or even a code slice is detected, defenses activate automatically.
Each safe house has enough supplies to last 30 people for 2 years. They also contain a small armory of weapons and equipment to use if needed. Every safe house comes with a small medical bay equipped with 2-1B, FX-7, GH-7 and DD-13 medical droids to tend to whatever injuries may come in.

Stymie enters the safe hous with the code cylinder Garik provided. He begins to inspect the shelter, checking it integrity, checking for traps, making sure it would be a truly safe place to train his commandos and, if it becomes necessary, hide both his daughter, Nyx, and Athena's son, Ranik, here.
He notices the medical droids and prompts the 2-1B to give him a tour of the safe house.
Startled by Stymies sudden appearance, the droid nervously does as ordered.
"Twitchy fellow aren't you."
"Pardon, sir?" the droid replied.
"That's your new name in fact: Twitch."
"But sir, I already have a name..."
"Carry on with the tour, Twitch."

At the safe house, the doors to the buildings holo-disguised hanger doors open to allow access for a delivery. Under Stygium cloak, two squadrons of TIE/Phantoms and the lone ST-92 prototype land and secure themselves in the hangar. The canopy of the ST-92 opens, and out comes the agent that took the ship from the YMSE facility. He meets with the rest of the pilots in the hanger bay, where he orders them to disperse back to the city through the various escape paths located in the maintenance tunnels beneath the safe house. The fighters and the safe house are both secured before the pilots leave them for the people they were intended for.

-Zhar Safe House-
The airspeeder lowers altitude as it gets closer to the rural Zhar safe house in the Kotor Mountain region. The safe house looks like a wooden cabin with light plastmold, a more natural look. To look at this place nestled next to a mount one would think a rich man's retreat, they wouldn't think it holds a secret. Dolan takes the speeder in and lands on the pad with a gentle stop.
"Here we are, lady and gents." Dolan announces to the group. "Please exit the vehicle in an orderly fashion, and please refrain from raiding the mini-bar as you do."
"He must be talking about you, Sacrifice." Garik says as he smiles with closed eyes. He opens his eyes and looks at everyone. With a light laugh, he quickly moves for the exit. "Last one out is bantha poodoo..."

Something happens that is unexpected, Garik doesn't move an inch from the Force push. He turns and looks at Sacrifice with that almost evil grin of his on his face, he knows Lorana and Sacrifice notice something different about him. "Your right Sacrifice, you first..."
Garik steps out of the way and sits next to Lorana. "He walked into that one."

*Lorana points to Casey as the speeder stops and Dorlan mentions the mini bar* Man Casey! Even an outsider knows about your sticky fingers.
*Casey laughs* As if I would go for the small stuff Lora. I only go for the big guns.
*As Casey slides out of the car, he bumps into Sac and a bottle of liquor falls out of his pocket. Lorana just shakes her head and Casey shrugs* Well since Sac dropped it, I'll just keep it. Technically, Sac grabbed it.
*Lorana was about to reply when she notices Sac using force push on Garik. Preparing to get bumped against the door, Lorana waits but doesn't feel anything. She looks and sees Garik sitting in the exact same place. Lorana knew one can block a force push, but one would also move a little with the force but not Garik. Something was up and this made Lorana crazy, but decided to play along for now*
*Putting her head on his shoulder, Lorana chuckles a bit with Garik after the Sac comment* Well you know Sac...he's a one man show.

Sac sits back and just shakes his head, thinking to himself he might need Garik to teach him whatever he just did to block the Force push. Sac is the first one out the airspeeder and onto the landing pad, Garik put his leg in front of Casey to block him from being next. "Manners, Casey... manners."
"Oh gee, thanks Garik. Let me guess, I'm gonna be last?" Casey asks as Garik let Lorana out before him.
"You must be clairvoyant." Garik says as he smiles at Casey and nods. He exits the vehicle and steps onto the landing pad. Casey exits last with a grumble as Garik begins making his way to the large cabin. Garik steps onto the front porch only to be met by the Dz5 security program that prompts for a security code. Garik produces a solid black code cylinder and inserts it in the terminal.
The doors to the cabin open to the foyer and inside is almost majestic, polished Zhar ceder walls with decorative etchings in the wood. Even from outside, brown Corellian leather furniture and Alderaanian carpeting can be seen. Garik is the first one to enter. "I forgot how nice the rural safe houses are."

*sac walks into the saf house sensing something dark has just happened. Sac starts pacing up and down trying to figure out what is happening* Garik, I must thank you for all the help you have been, but I must be going. I think the foam is still out there. The project was incialy mine and I need to shut it down completely and soon. Lorana it's been great seeing you again, if you need my help for anything just give me a call. And Casey it has been a pleasure meeting you. You make a great soldier I hope your career won't end like mine did. *Sac gives a smile then leaves the safe house and he heads for New Zhar City on foot giving him plenty of opportunity to think up a plan.*

Well it's definitely not the palace and not like our house back on Telos, but I guess as long as I'm not here too long I can managed.
*She walks through the house, looking in each room to see what was inside. Hearing Sac leave, Lorana heads back to the living room and hugs him*

*She closes the door behind him and looks out the window. The trees were begining to show signs of fall coming and crosses her arms. Casey sits down on one of the chairs and puts his arms behind his head*

*She walks back to the sofa and sits down, patting the seat next to her for Garik to sit down*

"Sometimes it is good to get back to the simpler things in life..." Garik says as he watches Lorana go off and inspect the new dwellings. Garik shakes Sac's hand before he leaves he leaves and smiles as he heads out the door. He offers parting words of advice as Sac makes his way back on foot.
"Do not get into too much trouble so quickly this time." Garik says before heading back inside. He finds Lorana and Casey both sitting back, relaxing. He sees Lorana gesture for him to come sit by her. He does so without further prompting. As Garik sits down, a hovering servant droid enters the room with a tray that has fruit, cheese and various beverages.
"Greetings guests, I am L1-T3R. May I interest anyone in some refreshments?"
"I am fine," Garik tells the droid, "what I would like to know is where is the door to the facility?"
The droid knows immediately what Garik means and points down the hall. "That way sir, down the hall and to the left. Are you in need of transport?"
"As a matter of fact, yes." Garik says as he stands up.
"I will have the ship prepped for you, sir."
Garik smiles and sits back down. "In that case, I'll have a ti'haar."

*Casey nods and reaches for one of the plates of fruit. The fruit droid gives him a plate and walks away.*

*Lorana shakes her head at Casey, as another droid hands her a plate too. The drinks droid comes over to them, handing Casey and Garik their glasses of ti'haar and Lorana a glass of lemonade.*
Thank you. *turns to Garik after he asks about transportation. Through the force, and as a test to see if she is really going crazy, Lorana asks Garik, "Are you already having second thoughts about a countryside retreat?"
*It was a weird feeling Lorana got while trying to communicate with Garik through the force. To her, it felt like a wall was put between them and Lorana couldn't break through. Being the type to not be very sneaky when things don't go her way, Lorana tightens her eyes and tries harder to break through the wall. Casey, between bites, watches Lorana and starts to laugh*
Man Lorana! Don't go hurt yourself.
*Lorana flung her arm and a cabinet went flying across the room, with Casey ducking behind the chair. With so much force power she was using, Lorana lost control of her powers for a moment. Angry, Lorana quickly jumps up and looks at the guys.*
Casey: *still behind the chair* Garik, I think you pissed off Lorana. You better take cover too or else get in your ship.
Lorana: *looking at Garik* WHY IN THE GREEN GRASS OF NABOO CAN'T I TALK TO YOU THROUGH THE FORCE? *looks at Casey too* Something happened and I'll be frack if either of you leaves so someone better start talking.
*Casey slowly gets up from behind the chair and holds his hands up in front of him* Lorana....
*Lorana puts her hand up and shakes her head* Don't give me that bull Case. I want to know now or else you'll have a sofa coming towards you next.
*She looks at Garik and shakes her head sadly* You lost your force abilities, didn't you? Why and why didn't you tell me before?

Garik isn't aware that Lorana is trying to contact him through the Force until he sees the cabinet smashing into a wall. Casey reacts in the style he knows and Garik is slightly shocked to see this as well as his eyes widen. "FRAK! What wrong?"
Garik approaches slowly as Lorana tells Casey to cut the bull. He hasn't though about what to tell her yet but theres no time like the present. "Lorana, calm down and I will explain."
Garik motions for Lorana to sit down and looks at her. His face is filled with struggle and uncertainty but he knows he has to say something. He drops the strangle hold he has on resisting the Force that blocks his ability to speak through the Force. "Its hard to explain."
Garik's Force presence is a bit brighter now but not by much. He looks at Lorana in strokes her cheek softly with the back of his hand. He looks into her eyes and is happy that she is alive. He can't stay connected through the Force for long since he now draws solely on what is within him instead of everything around him.
"Lorana" Garik says with his voice, "When you... woke up, it wasn't from a dream. You did die. It took an ancient and dark power to bring you back, so dark it poisoned me and threatened to let Ire loose on the galaxy. I was losing who I was to the dark side again and couldn't let that happen. I had to do something before it was too late."
Garik takes a beep breath and sighs. "I had to cut my connection to the Force to survive. The only reason I, Garik, am not dead is because of my knowledge of Teras Kasi."

Calm down? How do you expect me to 'calm down?'
*She continues to stand where she's at, even with Garik's motioning to sit down. As he starts, Lorana eases up and sits down next to him.*
Try me. Garik I've heard a lot of things over my time, most from my father. Whatever it is, you can tell me. Just don't keep me in the dark and lie about it.
*As he strokes her cheek, Lorana reaches up and grabs his hand, holding it on her lap. Casey, realizing the tantrum was over, walks over towards them as Garik starts.*
I...I..WHAT? How could that be? I thought...*Lorana thinks back to the point of being shot at but couldn't recall anything else until she woke up. Then, Lorana started to remember her dream: seeing Gus, HiVolt and her aunt there made the truth more belivable. Lorana looks at Casey*
Case, was that why....
Casey: *nods and puts his hand on her shoulder* Yeah Lora. It was pretty scary and I really thought you were gone, until...*looks at Garik* Well, there's more.
*Lorana looks back at Garik, surprised and worried about what else could have happened while she was dead. As he mentioned peforming ancient powers to bring her back, Lorana shook her head and stood up*
Terra what? Garik if you knew how dangerous that stuff was, you shouldn't have put yourself through that. There could have been another way, any way. I mean, we used blood to bring Jade back from the dead and my father and Cassus...Garik, I almost lost you because of this.
Casey: I told him about those options too Lora, but Garik was very adament this was the right way to go. *sees the mood getting bad, he tries something to lightened it* But hey, it's all done and everyone's alive. Now where's the dinner droid.
*Lorana ignores Casey's comment and looks at Garik* So what does this mean?
