He would have scowled at her but he had orders to treat her with most of respect. “Consul, I wish to observe indeed but not the proceedings.” He informed her but didn’t see it fit to elaborate what he indents to observe. It was not her business and he was not instructed to tell her anything at all. He stood by her side and it was in his intention to be there till he would hear otherwise.
