She walks into the old TapCaf, OU and a hover sled following her.

"What's that OU? No, I'm not going to build a new one. I'm just going to clean the old one up and reopen it. Heck. I was the one that did most of the cooking anyways."

OU beeps in curiosity at some of the items left in the corners as she gets to work throwing outdated equipment into the dumpster and wiping away months of grime.

She goes over to the door and hangs up a sign:

Dressed in overalls he walks in datapad in hand as he looks over the order for the new equipment for the Tapcaf...handing it to Gert he smiles "Look over the list dear and add anything else you may want." and walks over to the pile of junk that was the former Caf's equipmen and starts loading it in the dumpster.

"Hmmm.. well.."

She starts making notes on the datapad and adding the grocery list as well as an updated equipment list as much of what is there is damaged beyond what she's willing to repair.

"Make sure you double that order of bleach and dish soap old Mule. I'm going to have to sanitize all the refrigeration equipment and probably a good deal of the cookware. The stoves are shot. Looks like we could use some new lighting fixtures in the kitchen too."

She hands the pd back with a kiss on his cheek and a fond pat on his backside. "If you load up a hose on OU he can start spray washing the walls and floor."

He smiles at the pat on his rump....and makes his way into the kitchen area and stops at the ruined grill and thinks back to the night he told Gert his feelings for her......and that he loved her and wanted to be with her. Reaching for his saber he ignites it and deftly cuts the bolts securing it to the foundation. Deactivating his saber he concentrates and draws on the Force and reaching out he lifts the grill up and guides it to the main floor of the caf and gently sets it down on a hover sled. Punching in the directions on the keypad the sled heads for the ranch. Turning Gert is looking at him strangely he shrugs "What....it has sentimental value to me...besides I'll tinker with it and make it better than new." he calls OU over and attaches the hose and watches the little droid go about cleaning up the place.

She chuckles and starts scrubbing out the dish sinks.

"Style points?" She blinks and then chuckles. "Well... I guess some things will never change."

She whistles. "OU, comere and power wash this sink. I don't kow what this crud is in here but elbow grease isn't going to get it out for sure."

Leaving the little astromech droid to his work she watches Pappy work for a moment and smiles. Some of her best memories are of this Cafe and she wants it to be perfect.

Whistling an old squad tune he plows through the rubble and in what seems short order to him all the junk is cleaned up. As soon as they get the place sanitized the replacement equipment is minutes away and can be delivered at a moments notice.

She grins ear to ear. The place reaks of bleach and citrus scented cleaning soap. "Paint?"

She holds up a long handled brush in en guard.

Grabbing his roller he bows and turns and starts rolling on the new color....a nice robin's egg blue. after a hour or so he is finished with his walls and starts cutting in the edges. Finished with that he grabs a bucket of paint and starts on the trim with a nice sunflower yellow and pays attention not to rush and spill any on the freshly painted walls.

While he's doing that she sets to work repainting the kitchen after she tapes off the edges of the equipment she'd salvaged.

The walls become a bright clean shiny white that will be easy to scrub later and sturdy enough to stan up to the heat and moisture in a resturant kitchen.

Once finished she plugs a caf maker into the wall and stars brewing a pot from the supplies that came on the sled with her.

"Hot caf old Mule?"

Walking in hair matted with sweat and spots of paint all over him his pulls over a packing crate and sits down "That would be wonderful dear, By the way great job in here it looks better than new" and relaxes

She pours him a mug full of hot caf and sweetens it to his taste before adding cream. She pours herself a mug of black herself and sits down on a crate next to him.

"If you clean it.. they will come." she chuckles and sips her caf.

Sipping the caf it warms his soul and he looks at Gert. reaching over he pulls a stray strand of hair off her face. "You know dear....we all have fond memories of this place. I just hope this time it lasts longer than the last ones. Can you think of any way we can make it more secure?" and looks around the gleaming kitchen

"It was usually pretty full in here most of the time. Yah, lets get the equipment hoed up. I got some really nice tables and booths. Wroshyr wood tops, bantha hide seats. Good thing you aren't fussy about cost. Given the ah.. rambunxiousness of the average padawan, I got reinforced legs for the tables."

He walks out into the main area and watches as dozens of service droids enter with hover sleds...4 sleds head off with equipment for the kitchen area and a dozen start unboxing the tables chairs and paintings. Meanwhile he makes his way to on paticular sled and tells the droid "Off load it over there and I will take care of it's instalation" and the droid complies. He starts hooking up all the componets and thinks. "oh Biy is Gert gonna love this"

She drects various droids to place tables and booths and laughs at OU when he repremends the rent-a-droids when they make mistakes.

She decides to personally hang the paintings. Each done by a local artest, some of which are remarkable for their lack of formal training.

Once finished she wanders into the kitchen tosupervise the installation of the equipment and placement of pantry goods.

Finished down below with the electronic portion of this endevor he climbs the ladder and installs the stage lights. All of which will be sychronized with the music selection through a Midi board and computer system. Finished he walks over to a case being held by a droid and opens it up and grabs his guitar....then walking to the stage he stands over a star on the floor and a Mic rises up and he sings his song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gojFlXsYGYE
