Went to Home Depot, bought a 12 inch pipe, about 1 1/4 inch in diameter.. it had threads on each end. Had them cut about an inch from each end. On the same trip, I had bought a hose adaptor, it's about an inch long, and the brassy looking thing

Then bought about 2 yards of leather strap from Michaels crafts... Along with a wooden dowel cap... Kind of a ball... painted the ball with a black sharpie...
Used Gorilla glue to attach everything. Now, I need an activation switch or two, and I'm done.
