Tuskers, another adventure

Tuskers, Another Adventure

-- * --

A task force of several Imperial ships sits in a popular hyperspace lane.
Two Imperial Star Destroyers, Three Carrack Cruisers, several squads of TIE-Fighters, and most importantly an Interdictor Cruiser.

The Sekotan Skiff Meli is yanked out of hyperspace.
"Fierfek, not again. Using his connection to Meli, he can actually see and hear more of what is happening than any other time that he flew combat.
"This is the Empire, surrender your vessel for inspection."

Tuskers replies, "I have a security code, transmitting now."

After a couple of moments, the Imperial vessel replies, "You have a valid code, but it is and older code. We will still need to board your vessel.

"I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name. I am on urgent business for the Empire. Please deactivate your gravity well generators immediately, or I will report you to the highest levels."

"Sir, your code may have been valid for such clearance in the past, but we have our orders. Stand down and prepare to be boarded, or we will be forced to open fire."

Tuskers swears under his breath again. "Frackin' Empire" Tuskers thinks about it for a second. The fleet is too large for Meli to take on by herself.

*Tuskers talks to his ship* So, Meli are we prepared for a fight? We just need a shot at that interdictor.

*The ship hums and indicates that it's ready for whatever he chooses to do*

Tuskers advances towards one of the Imperial Star Destroyers, maneuvering towards the landing bay. "Sir, I don't know if your bay is big enough for my ship. Let me get close enough to determine, then if now you can send over a shuttle to dock with me."

Tuskers sets course for the hanger bay of the further away ISD, because it's closer to the Interdictor cruiser. As Meli flys past the first Star Destroyer, the radio beeps, trying to get his attention, but he ignores it, holding course exactly for the exposed underside of the second Star Destroyer.

"Slowing down, Meli. Be prepared for that one moment... Almost there..."
Meli is lining up with the hanger bay, but isn't quite in line for the tractor beam to take hold.
"Target weapons for the interdictors Gravity Well Generators. We will probably only need one shot to..." Tuskers feels the tractor beam starting to catch the ship. "Maximum thrust now!"

Leena comes into the control room as Tuskers punches the throttle. She falls into an acceleration chair. "Darling, are we okay?"

"Meli, take over. Leena, we're in a bit of a bind. It's the Empire, a fleet of them." Tuskers looks at the controls, "Main bio-weapon charged. Strap yourself in Leena, here's where the fun begins."

Leena does not look like she's having fun, "Tuskers, next time you decide to take on an entire Imperial fleet, you might want to drop me off on a nice planet first!"

"Darling, if Meli here can't handle that Interdictor, we're going to be on a nice prison planet very soon, if we're lucky enough to be alive."

"And did you consider actually talking to them? Maybe use our contacts?"

"Honey, we don't have any contacts in the Empire. Athena won't take my calls, and someone recently abducted me. . ." A flashing light draws Tuskers attention. "We're entering firing range."

"Do it Tusk, baby." A fire can be seen in Leena's eyes, and she touches a control panel. "Come on Meli, give it everything you've got."

Tuskers touched a control, and launched a bioweapon. A glowing missle just flew through the shields of the indictor, andt blew apart one of the gravity well generators. This disturbed the interdiction field enough for the speedy Zonoma Sekotan skiff to zip away into hyperspace.

Tuskers and Leena hugged, and they congradulated Meli on a job well done.

I have two places that I worry about. The Starlight Beach Club, and Zonama Sekot, the living planet, and home of the Grey Jedi.
