A Few Words on Constructing Your FleetCurrently, I have on record the following ships for the Empire: 2 SSD 71 ISD 107 VSD 3 Carrack Cruisers 40 Katana class Dreadnaughts 4 Corvettes 200+ Heavy cargo freighters 100+ Escort Frigates When you construct your fleets for missions, please keep in mind that I have an SSD and SK has the other one. Let's not have more than a total of possibly four SSDs in the Empire. Keep your fleets to a manageable size. No 1000000000000000000 ISDs or anything crazy like that. Remember, the more ships you have, the more you have to coordinate and the more likely it will be that the enemy will run or your fleet will run into each other. Also, it's okay to have lots of smaller ships. Yes, an SSD has more power, but they aren't as manueverable as a VSD or a Carrack cruiser. You get the picture. Race: Human-Felacatian Sex: Female Age: early 30's Alligence: Galactic Empire Rank: General Personal History: Born to a movie director/actor/model, Nomi, and Pappy-Wan Kenobi on Obroa-Skai but lived as if Reed Light, Nomi's husband, was her father. Crystal began her life following in her parents' acting footsteps until her parents divorced when she was almost 12. Their divorce was in part from Nomi's flirtatious behavior and Reed's disgust (and subsequent abuse) at Crystal for not being his biological daughter. Crystal became very moody, so much so that she said some particularly crass disparaging remarks to an instructor. Reed immediately sent her to a junior military academy. In the academy, Crystal discovered her military calling. She was an adept student but very belligerent, moody, and tomboyish. When she was 16, she fell in love with a kind science teacher, Brys. She began a romantic relationship with the instructor until he left at the end of the school year (to join a Rebel faction), leaving her devastated. She buried her feelings in loveless relationships, with the brief exception of a romance with Krayan, a bright military cadet. But Crystal ended the relationship ended when she learned he would be leaving for a different assignment. Crystal's military career continued to progress. She graduated the Academy at the top of her class and was assigned to Dantooine on a routine mission. There she performed well but exceeded the requirements by causing the demolition of an entire town. She was courtmarshalled and reassigned to Bastion. There, Crystal met and married a man named Kaal, a bright historian and successful business owner. But differing opinions, claims of infidelity, power struggles, and bouts of extreme violence (on Crystal's part) split the couple apart in a bitter divorce. Crystal spent much of her time avoiding love all together. Then one day on Naboo, Crystal met Tuskers, who swept her off her feet. She established the Starlight Officer's Club and invited him to co-own it. As they ran the Club, Tuskers discovered Crystal's latent Force powers and encouraged her to train to use her skills and to abate her bad temper. Crystal denied having any Force talents and avoided training at all costs. However, when the Boonta Eve Podrace 2 signups opened, Crystal began to believe she might have some talent and signed up. While she was preparing for her first podrace, Crystal learned of her real father, Pappy-Wan, her step-mother, Gert, and her siblings, Grainne, Scorpius, and John with another sibling on the way. Crystal was stunned, glad to learn that the man she had called father, now a drunk and begging for money from his "daughter", was not biologically related. But the feelings of euphoria didn't last long. The very next day, Annie told her about Don-Emperor, about the fraud. Crystal was devastated at the loss of her Empire but determined not to let it fall. She assumed control of the Empire and announced herself Empress-General. Annie, Bane Malar, Jimmy Fett-Rocks, and others supported her decision. As if her life wasn't in enough turmoil, Darth Lonefire approached her and offered to train her to assume her place at the head of the new Empire and to become a Sith. Alone and uncertain, Crystal accepted and was bestowed the name Darth Athena. Not long after her turn to the Dark Side, Crystal lost her dear sister, Grainne. After Grainne's death, Crystal was poisoned and made to believe that she had killed her mother, her mother's boyfriend, and their baby daughter. But Nomi Light, looking no more than 25 years of age from extensive plastic surgery, appeared unharmed in the Club a few days later to congratulate her daughter on her new position. The day before the podrace, Crystal learned of her cousin, Jade, and her mother's Felacatian heritage. The next day, Crystal ran in the podrace and crashed into an avalanche. Jade with the support of Scorpius was able to heal Crystal's wounds, and she made a complete recovery. But things weren't okay with Tuskers and Crystal. Tuskers didn't like how much time Crystal spent away and the changes he saw in her. When he confronted her with this, Crystal refused to give up training under Lonefire and left for Mustafar with her Master. When Tuskers refused to give up the Club, she had it destroyed. It was at this time that she gave up the name "Crystal Starr Light" and became known primarily as Athena. With a million credit bounty on his head, Athena declared war against Tuskers and, inadvertantly, the Grey Jedi Order. But after a whirlwind series of events, Athena realized that her dispute with Tuskers (and the GJO) was senseless and dropped Tuskers' charges and negotiated the end of the war. Athena then focused on strengthening the Empire. In the course of this, she recruited Starkiller. He told her she had more potential than she realized. At first, she didn't believe him. Starkiller then told her that if she demanded anything, it would be done. So she demanded he kiss her. And he did. Athena was shocked, not only at the kiss, but also at the feelings the kiss created. As Athena continued to strength and then began to expand the Empire into Corellia, Commenor, Duro, Eriadu, and other planets (many via Starkiller), she realized that she was developing feelings for Starkiller. When Starkiller revealed his feelings for her on Corellia, Athena was relieved and delighted. It did not take long before Starkiller proposed: to which Athena agreed. But the efforts to strengthen the Empire and unify the galaxy demanded that Starkiller go on a diplomatic mission to Dorvalla. So, through tears, Athena watched him go, wondering if she would ever see him again. In a recent training mission on Mustafar with her apprentice, Athena lost her left hand when she became distracted by her comm. Jade was able to repair most of the damage and return her hand, but a scar will always exist--a reminder to Athena to stay alert no matter what. In between ruling the Empire, training as a Sith, and planning her wedding, Athena is training her new apprentice, Darth Nahema, her master's daughter.
