A Message from Captain CraneI have tragic news. The Imperial Restoration Day celebration was ruined at the presence of insurrectionists led by traitor, Everette. They infiltrated the Empress' residence on Corellia and attempted to assassinate the Empress. Fortunately, General Nahema, Colonel Casey, Cassus, and myself were able to foil the worst of the attack. However, the Empress is in critical condition and will be unavailable for the next few weeks. Executer Lonefire will be taking her place until such time as she is able to rule. Long live the Empire! After the divorce, Crystal hopped between both parents' homes until she was sent to a junior military academy for spreading rumors about an instructor. There she excelled and earned a place among an elite all-male group, called "The Bucks". She garnered the reputation for being belligerent, moody, tomboyish, impulsive, dare devilish, and quite the charmer (during this time, she also befriended "Rocket Head" Stymie). She graduated the Academy at the top of her class (the only female to do so) as second-lieutenant and was assigned to Dantooine on a routine mission. There, she completed the assignment but exterminated an entire town because of some sexist remarks. Her superior officer, Lieutenant Burges, had her court-marshalled and reassigned to a more sedate station on Bastion. On Bastion, Crystal met and hastily married a man named Kaal, a bright historian and successful business owner. But the marriage didn't even last a year, due to wild claims of infidelity, power struggles, and bouts of extreme violence. Kaal repetitively tried to shoot down the divorce until Crystal turned to Reed for support. Reed aided the divorce, but at great cost to Crystal. She determined thereafter to never love again and focused on her military career, quickly rising to the rank of General in part to her aggressive tactics. On Naboo, she met Tuskers, and together they ran the Starlight Officer's Club. During their time at the Club, Crystal learned of her Force powers, which she refused to explore until she signed up for the Boonta Eve Podrace 2. Concurrently, Crystal finally learned of her biological father, Pappy-Wan, her cousin, Jade Albrighte, and her brother, Kejn Kurant. After Moff Annie unveiled the truth of the Don-Emperor, Crystal assumed the role of Empress and renamed the Empire, the "Reconstructed Galactic Empire". Around the same time, Darth Lonefire approached her and offered to train her as a Sith to assume her place at the head of the new Empire. She quickly accepted and took the name Darth Athena, which she became known as after a dispute with Tuskers. After much training, Athena was given her own apprentice, Darth Nahema, Lonefire's daughter. While training her apprentice, she strengthened the Empire and recruited Starkiller as Moff (among others). Through his diligent efforts, Athena began to expand the Empire into Corellia, Commenor, Duro, Eriadu, and other planets. Increased hositilities between the KoA and the Empire broke out into war over Dantooine, while Athena, Lonefire, Tuskers, Ithilwen, and Augustus were in peace talks on Coruscant. The Empire maintains that the Atrocity broke out of control, and the KoA fired first. The helmsman has been subsequently punished for his actions. With the demise of the KoA, the Empress has heard the planets' cry for aide and has claimed the galaxy under temporary Imperial control. She is working on installing an Imperial Senate and is hoping for those willing to come forward to represent the planets in the galaxy. Further, she is sending Imperials to war-torn worlds in the hopes of rebuilding their economies and governments. Back after seeing her mother on Obroa-Skai, Athena announced Imperial Restoration Week to celebrate the uniting of the Galaxy under the Reconstructed Galactic Empire. An exclusive party was to be held on Corellia at the Empress' royal residence on Friday. But the festivities were ruined by an anti-Imperial faction, led by traitor, Lieutenant Everette, who penetrated the Empress' residence and a Jedi. The residency was destroyed and the Empress' whereabouts are unknown. Until further notice, Executer Lonefire has been given control of the Empire.
