Real LifeAs many of you are aware, on Wednesday morning, my dad was rushed to the emergency room. He had surgery and is now resting in ICU. He is doing much better, but there is still a long road ahead. I don't know how often I'll be available to RP. To be honest, I don't really feel like it, and I can't seem to focus on anything for any amount of time. I will try to maintain the Imperial roster to the best of my abilities. Don't think this is goodbye; I have every intention of coming back to full RP. I just need a little time to figure out myself. In the meantime, please keep my family and dad in your thoughts and prayers. To the many of you wishing me and my family the best, I thank you, more than you can ever know. You guys are fabulous; knowing I have so many people looking out, praying, comforting, and doing their own support in their own special way is the sweetest, most touching thing in the world. After the divorce, Crystal hopped between both parents' homes until she was sent to a junior military academy for spreading rumors about an instructor. There she excelled and earned a place among an elite all-male group, called "The Bucks" of which Nick Owabi was also a member. She garnered the reputation for being belligerent, moody, tomboyish, impulsive, dare devilish, and quite the charmer (during this time, she also befriended "Rocket Head" Stymie). She graduated the Academy at the top of her class (the only female to do so) as second-lieutenant and was assigned to Dantooine on a routine mission. There, she completed the assignment but exterminated an entire town because of some sexist remarks. Her superior officer, Lieutenant Burges, had her court-marshalled and reassigned to a more sedate station on Bastion. On Bastion, Crystal met and hastily married a man named Kaal, a bright historian and successful business owner. But the marriage didn't even last a year, due to wild claims of infidelity, power struggles, and bouts of extreme violence. Kaal repetitively tried to shoot down the divorce until Crystal turned to Reed for support. Reed aided the divorce, but at great cost to Crystal. She determined thereafter to never love again and focused on her military career, quickly rising to the rank of General in part to her aggressive tactics. Because of a lull in Imperial activity, Crystal started the Starlight Officer's Club. While there, Crystal learned of her Force powers, which she refused to explore until she signed up for the Boonta Eve Podrace 2. Concurrently, Crystal finally learned of her biological father, Pappy-Wan, her cousin, Jade Albrighte, and her half brother, Kejn Kurant. Crystal may have continued running the Club had Moff Annie not unveiled the truth of the Don-Emperor. Determined not to let the Empire die, Crystal assumed the role of Empress and renamed the Empire, the "Reconstructed Galactic Empire". Around the same time, Darth Lonefire approached her and offered to train her as a Sith to assume her place at the head of the new Empire. She quickly accepted and took the name Darth Athena. After much training, Athena was given her own apprentice, Darth Nahema, Lonefire's daughter. While training her apprentice, she strengthened the Empire and recruited Starkiller as Moff (among others). Through his diligent efforts, Athena began to expand the Empire into Corellia, Commenor, Duro, Eriadu, and other planets. Increased hositilities between the KoA and the Empire broke out into war over Dantooine, while Athena was in peace talks with representatives from the KoA and the Greys on Coruscant. With the demise of the KoA, the Empress has heard the planets' cry for aide and has claimed the galaxy under temporary Imperial control. After successful rollout of Imperial rule in the galaxy, Athena announced Imperial Restoration Week to celebrate the uniting of the Galaxy under the Reconstructed Galactic Empire. An exclusive party was to be held on Corellia at the Empress' royal residence on Friday. But the festivities were ruined by an anti-Imperial faction, led by traitor, Lieutenant Everette, who penetrated the Empress' residence and a Jedi. The residency was destroyed; fortunately, the Empress was saved, thanks to the courage of General Lorana and Colonel Casey. Currently, she and her husband reside in their new Throne Room on Bastion where they have welcomed a son, Ranik Light.
