Warleader Qaah
“do-ro'ik vong pratte! (And woe to our enemies.)”
The Slayer
Name: Q'aah Species: Yuuzhan Vong Gender: Male Age: unknown Eyes: Mqaaq'its biological ocular replacements Rank: unofficial rank of Warleader Weapons: Amphistaff, coufee, Steng's talons(left hand), Plasma Eel, Magma pebbles, Bandoleer of Nang hul(Thud, Razor, Snap and Blast bugs) Present that day when Supreme Overlord Shimrra revealed his new Slayers to the Elite in Hall of Confluence. Q'aah was one of two to show their fighting prowess against Supreme Commander Chaan and his ten Yuuzhan Vong warriors, when he denounced them as shamed ones. Out of all the slayers created he was the youngest, the other he fought side by side with was considered the leader of their group, the best of them all. Thus, it was they that proved their fighting abilities and silenced the critic?s, as Supreme Commander Chaan and his warriors were left dead or dying at their feet. Securing their position within the Yuuzhan Vong, their display of combat skills also challenged any opposition who would oppose Supreme Overlord Shimrra rule. Equipped with a suit of combat biots designed by Master Shaper Qelah Kwaad, their skin was the black color of dried Yuuzhan Vong blood and was in fact supple, fast-healing armor bonded to their bodies. They were equipped with the spiked close-combat implants known as Steng's talons, as well as new variants of the amphistaff and coufee melee weapons. Their fighting style was very similar to that of the Jedi, concentrating on the use of bladed weapons, deflecting thud bugs and blaster bolts, and full of high leaps and rapid movements, in which it was comparable to the Force-boosted acrobatics, derived ultimately from the traditional Ataru style of fighting the Jedi used. During the Slayers first field deployment on the planet Caluula, Q'aah and his creche brother Tolek were recalled and sent on another mission to put down a revolt of Shamed Ones on Yavin IV. Traveling in their new coralskipper heavy fighters they missed the end of the war, it was on Yavin they learned that Supreme Overlord Shimrra was dead. They like those that heeded Warmaster Nas Choka command to surrender were sent to Zonama Sekot, stripped of their weapons and force to learn to life a new way. One of the last of his kind to survive the great Yuuzhan Vong War. The Slayer known only as Q'aah, has lived in seclusion near village of La'okio on Zonama Sekot in resentment. That resentment has turned to hate seeing what his proud race has been reduced to, forcing him to make a decision instead of living side by side with the Shamed Ones a moment longer. Hearing the rumors of traditionalist and others fighting to keep their way of live alive, he gathers a small band of like minded warriors and leaves. Seeking these traditionalist out with the hope that he and his men will finally gain the glory they should have had during the Wars. That or at least dying as true warriors should...in battle.
