Current Status:

The Council has reconvined, Master Luke is once more in the place of responsibility he most belongs, running the Order. He has asked that I continue in teaching form 0 and interviewing students prior to their being assigned to masters to determine their readyness within the Order.

Unlike times past, there will be no memorization. You will demonstrate that you are capable of being in a hostile situation and extracting yourself without the use of your lightsaber or being attacked by your opponent.

Background:

I grew up the daughter of a wealthy political Corellian family. My father eventually became system senator and much of my free time was spent either traveling with him or in my grandfather?s gardens learning all that I could about the cycle of growth. My great grandfather, sensing a strong disturbance in the Force, took measures to hide the linage of his family. His son and daughter were born out of wedlock and adopted to make things appear as though he was not their natural father. They were however, still trained in the Corellian Jedi tradition in secret. His son turned his back on the family?s political position and chose to surround himself with life. It was left to his grandson and eventually his great grandson, my brother Darb, to carry on the family tradition spawned in centuries past when Coreilla was a monarchy and the Yonsz family stood in line to the thrown, albeit, very far back.

When I was about sixteen, my father decided a good way to train me to become a good politician and a good Jedi would be to introduce me to some of the less fortunate in the outlying systems from ours. His goal I believe was to show me that some people struggle very hard just to survive. Oddly I took it more as an invitation to help said people and started brining them supplies and food that they badly needed. CorSec didn?t exactly like this as they were squatters on a planet slated for mining development. They hunted me until I was cornered. Of all people, Hal Horn was personally on the case and recognized me? and what I was. I did not know at the time that this was why he let me go but her did after disintegrating one of my slaved supply ships, with a warning, not to ever come back to Corellia or CorSec. I took off and he reported me vaped. As far as my family knew, I was dead.

I made myself scarce and eventually fell in with Boster Terrik and his happy bunch of thieves. A bit over a year later, Han Solo went looking for Booster to try to get him to join the Rebellion. The Terriks did not join but Han was a distant cousin of mine and managed to talk me into going.

Once in the Rebellion, it was immediately noticed I had a very good mechanical aptitude and was put to work repairing and overhauling X-Wings. I spent several years in an on again off again relationship with Wes Janson which ended with him changing his mind about what he wanted for about the 10th time. Having had enough and having recently joined Luke?s new Jedi Order I concentrated on completing my studies. In spite of my habit of being a bit of a maverick, I reached the status of Master and began teaching at a new school Luke had formed to deal with problem students. My sister Kit would also eventually join the Order after tracking me down at the behest of our father and become a BUDs staff member. Unkown to me at the time, I was asked to become a staff member of BUDs for the specific goal one Pappy-Wan Kenobi had of courting me.

He did a bit too good of a job for someone that sort of annoyed me originally. We?re married now and have our first child together. Pappy has several other children by other encounters and relationships and all of them are welcome in our home at BUDs.

All this you say of course is boring. And indeed it is. The exciting stories are for another day.
