More sponsors, more awards, more prizes - it must be the end-of-year Best Collection Awards! We have made a small change to the entry rules for this contest: your entry pictures can now be uploaded to any public hosting service (like Photobucket), or your own server, or your WOSW account like usual. We have made this change because of bugs and issues that some people are experiencing with the WOSW image uploading system. You still need to be a member of the World of Star Wars to enter, and if you use an external host for your entry pictures, you must send us the URL for each entry picture. More details below, in the How To Enter section.

IF YOU ARE UPLOADING YOUR ENTRY PICS TO YOUR WOSW ACCOUNT:

1. Upload your entry pictures to your profile, and give them a title that begins with the code shown in the award details (below). The code makes it easier for us to find the pictures.

2. Send an e-mail to BestCollectionAward@yahoo.com with your WOSW username and the categories you have entered in.

IF YOU ARE UPLOADING YOUR ENTRY PICS TO AN EXTERNAL HOST:

1. Upload your entry pictures as per the usual method for that hosting service.

2. Send an e-mail to BestCollectionAward@yahoo.com with your WOSW username, the categories you have entered in, and the URL for each individual entry photo (if you are entering three photos in one category and four photos in another category, we would require seven URLs). The URL can be either a direct link to the image itself, or a link to the page where the image is located.

Using either method, you will receive a reply e-mail confirming that your pictures have been officially received. If you have not received official confirmation of your submission within a few days please contact us. If you do not like the preview (thumbnail) image used for your entry, please e-mail us with your concerns and we will make a new one.

Winners are determined by our panel of expert judges and/or a public vote.

	BEST EWOK COLLECTION Anything and everything related to or displaying Ewoks. Figures, books and comics, posters, and so on, are all good places to start. Most varied and impressive Ewok collection wins! Maximum 4 pictures - Picture titles MUST begin with "bca11-1"
	BEST STAR WARS COSTUME It is nearly time for Halloween, and we want you to show us your best Star Wars costume or outfit, whether it was made for Halloween or not! Costumes can be official or unofficial, purchased or home-made. You are not limited to official LFL-licensed items in this category. Maximum 4 pictures - Picture titles MUST begin with "bca11-2"
	BEST RECREATION EPISODE V Use your Star Wars figures, props and vehicles, to recreate a scene from Episode V The Empire Strikes Back (including deleted scenes). Only real scenes that were actually filmed are allowed. Maximum 4 pictures - Picture titles MUST begin with "bca11-3"
	BEST CUSTOM FIGURE Figure modders - it is your time to shine! Show us your best custom or customised Star Wars figure, of a known character or one you created. You are not limited to official LFL-licensed items in this category. Maximum 4 pictures - Picture titles MUST begin with "bca11-4"
	BEST HOLIDAY SCENE A free-form scene creation contest - use your Star Wars figures, playsets, props, vehicles, etc to create a Star Wars scene with a holiday theme. Dexter Jettster as Santa, for example, or Clones on Christmas Day. You are not limited to official LFL-licensed items in this category. Maximum 4 pictures - Picture titles MUST begin with "bca11-5"
	WORST DOOKU FIGURE Recently we have seen awful reproductions of Boba Fett and Luke Skywalker. Now we want to see the worst, most unrealistic and un-lifelike Count Dooku figure. Only official attempts at real figures allowed, so no deliberately super-deformed or Clone Wars figures. Maximum 4 pictures - Picture titles MUST begin with "bca11-6"

Information about how to enter forms a part of these rules.
Submissions must be of YOUR collection.
You can submit entries in as many categories as you want but only ONCE per category.
All submissions (e-mails giving entry details) must be received by us no later than December 20th, 2009 11:59 PM EST (American Eastern Standard Time).
All pictures hosted on your WOSW account must be given a title that begins with the correct code, as shown in the Award details section.
Upon uploading your pics you must email BestCollectionAward@yahoo.com with your WOSW screen name and the categories you are entering, and (if using an external host) a URL that links to each individual entry photo.
We are working solely on "Honesty is the Best Policy" for everything!
The rulings of the judges are final, and no correspondence, electronic or physical, will be entered into.
By entering this contest you hereby give permission for your entry photos to be added to this profile page.
Public Judging will be performed by a public vote open to everyone on the BCA contact list, with the proviso that each person is entitled to vote a maximum of once, with their primary profile.
Unless otherwise stated (for example, "Custom" categories and free-form scene creations) ALL items shown in entries must be official LucasFilm-licensed items. Any items shown in entries adjudged to not meet this criteria will be excluded from consideration, or the entire entry will be disqualified, solely at the discretion of the BCA committee.

There are Star Wars Kookys available (I think C3PO looks great as a Kooky!) and many others as well.
