As a ragged band of collectors, we have come to see who has the Best of the Best when it comes to Star Wars collections. This is the contest to decide. Only one will rein as The Best Overall Collection!

Who will it be? Do you think your collection is the best? Well, NOW is your chance to see. Competing for the top prize will be collectors of all sizes, there are the lifetime collectors, the passive collectors, the everything collectors and even the newbie collectors. But do not worry - if you do not have a large collection, we have a couple of other categories that might fit you better!

There are 6 categories, and only one winner will be chosen in each category. Future contests will be forthcoming! The keys to this page will be passed on next month and then passed on again and again and again to keep the ball rolling!

Please note that it is VERY IMPORTANT to label your pics with the proper title, as explained in The Rules below. We would hate to see anyone miss out because their pic cannot be found.

THE RULES

Please read the rules VERY carefully!

Anyone can enter but as with any contest there are a couple of rules to follow:

1. Information about how to enter forms a part of these rules.
2. Submissions must be of YOUR collection.
3. You can submit entries in as many categories as you want but only ONCE per category.
4. All submissions must be posted on your profile page by April 21, 2008 12:01 AM PST.
5. All pics must be given the correct title - the name of the award followed by "Entry". For example, "Best Overall Collection Award Entry". See the Award Categories below to find the correct title to use. You can use the "Description" text to explain more about the picture and so forth.
6. Ensure you do not exceed the number of pictures allowed for the category you are entering - some allow more then one picture, some only allow one. See the Award Categories below to find the maximum number of pictures allowed in each category.
7. Duplicates will not be honored or judged.
8. Upon uploading your pics you must email BestCollectionAward@yahoo.com with your WOSW screen name and the categories you are entering.
9. We are working solely on "Honesty is the Best Policy" for everything!
10. Soliciting for comments or votes is unacceptable, as is using any of your other profiles to "bring up your comments" on your pics. You are, however, allowed to simply leave in the Guest Book of other users the following comment only, "I've posted new pics." Anything outside of that exact comment may be cause for dismissal from contest.
11. Winners will be announced right here on April 28, 2008. The rulings of the judges are final, and no correspondence, electronic or physical, will be entered into.
12. By entering this contest you hereby give permission for your entry photos to be added to this profile page. Some pics maybe added as references to the contest prior to the end of the contest.
13. Judging will be done through two combined methods. First, by a panel of four of your peers plus one non-collector - BOSS (because, let us face it, he has seen more pics on here then anyone else). Second, will be by the comments received on your pics. These combined two factors will decide the winner for each category.

AWARD CATEGORIES

BEST OVERALL COLLECTION Maximum 6 pictures Give pictures the title "Best Overall Collection Award Entry" This is the big one! Size is what matters most.		BEST MEGA PIECE Maximum 2 pictures Give pictures the title "Best Mega Piece Award Entry" For large items like statues and scaled replicas.		BEST SINGLE DISPLAY Only 1 picture Give pictures the title "Best Single Display Award Entry" A single shelf display, or wall display, or Jedi display, etc.
BEST RE-CREATION OF A SCENE Maximum 4 pictures Give pictures the title "Best Re-Creation Of A Scene Award Entry" For the openers - recreate a scene from a SW movie.		BEST ITEM THAT NOBODY ELSE ON WOSW HAS Only 1 picture Give pictures the title "Best Item That Nobody Else On WOSW Has Award Entry" That rare piece you haven't seen around here before.		BEST SINGLE VINTAGE PIECE Only 1 picture Give pictures the title "Best Single Vintage Piece Award Entry" Only for pre-1980 items. So no ESB or ROTJ items!
