Ayanna Nyx

Who is Ayanna Nyx?

The character of Ayanna Nyx is one that I created for a novel that myself and Kalin Thalis wrote together.
The story takes place more than 450 years after the events of ANH, and the galaxy has changed a great
deal. The sense of peace and freedom has become a distant memory as the claws of corruption begin to plague the Senate once again. The New Republic is becoming unstable.

On the distant planet of Cophrigin V, Ayanna Nyx begins her journey through the galaxy, to hunt down the descendants of the Skywalker's. Ayanna is the descendant of An'ya Kuro, known also as The Dark Woman. But Ayanna's legacy was not the product of An'ya's womb, but of the mind. With The Dark Woman's talents over plant life, she created a child made from plant life and that of her own blood, and this is where Ayanna's line comes from. There are never more than two of Ayanna's kind at once, a mother and a daughter. When An'ya was killed by Darth Vader centuries before, Ayanna's ancestor and first of her kind was left alone, with no one. And from that moment, a desire for revenge was born. Having discovered the truth of Vader's true name, it became of absolute priority to Ayanna and her mother, grandmother and so on, before her, to kill every last Skywalker.

By the days of Ayanna, already many Skywalker's have fallen, at the hands of others, and also of her ancestors. Now, Ayanna is alone in the galaxy, but her desire for revenge against the Skywalker's is in her blood, passed down from her mother, something she was taught from a child. But a chance encounter with Kalin Thalis, direct descendant of Anakin Skywalker, was to send her on an epic journey. One that would reveal the truth of her own being, and take them to the very foundations and heights of the galactic political arena.....

That is merely a taster of the first of 6 Chronicles written by myself and Kalin.


I also use Ayanna for the sake of an RPG that Kalin Thalis and I created, set around 2 years before the events of Episode IV. In this, Ayanna is now the apprentice of Kalin, as she climbs through the ranks of the Dark Jedi, though she is plagued by her own thoughts about the nature of the Force. Whether it be of the light or the dark.......
