It was noted a few days ago that 10/24 may be the official date of this site.I'm not exactly sure but I do know it has been around for a year by now.With this said, I would like to thank all that have kept this site alive. Thanks to all the fans out there that have remained on here. It never ceases to amaze me the amount of content being generated on this site daily. I think with as many users we loose we gain twice as many.

There are several of us "Old Timers" on this site still hanging on and hoping that Yahoo doesn't cut the plug on us. I have seen some great friends up and vanish. Master Kol is one of them that comes to mind. He really helped generate a lot of interest in my artwork. I really hate it when a user leaves this site for whatever reason. When you get to know all these people on here you develop a friendship with them. A connection that we all share with our love for Star Wars.

My Love for Star Wars has helped me to grow and develop as an artist. I have branched out from this site and started my own website devoted to Star Wars Fan Art and also a Deviant Art Account that is speckled with my Star Wars Art and interpretations.

With the Year ending soon I would like to go one step further. Empress Palpatine is the main reason that the Profile of the week competition has remained into the WOSW. Yahoo created this competion but when Y2-D2 left for whatever reason the competition seemed dead. She breathed new life in it by starting a thread that continues to this day. Thank You for that. Also thanks to all that have participated and made it fun and rewarding. With this being said I would like to hold a Profile of the Year. I haven't worked out all the details as of yet but as soon as I do I will post in the Help forum with all the rules and details. Please pass on this information and spread the word to the new users out there.

My artwork is why I formed this account in the first place and I will continue to post from time to time new artwork. I have not been as active as previous times in posting but I will continue to post when I can. I would like to thank all that have commented,rated,favorited my work. Thank You all. Your comments have helped to inspire me and keep me growing as an artist.

I think I should also mention this in my blog. My character/avatar/user name on this site was actually created from a sense of humor and not really taking this site very seriously. I didn't even know what to do on here for the first two weeks I joined and it seems like it took me forever to figure out how to get an avatar other than that little grey smily block. The banner took even longer and figuring out what to do with my blog was another triumph for me. Things really started to improve when Darth Dianthus started posting help in his blog about blogging on this site. This site seems to have some really quirky moments at times and I've seen just about everything. I've frozen my blog. I've seen guestbooks locked out, pictures missing, video that wouldn't load and the purging of my pictures in random order. Just hang in there and know that its free and for fun.

As a profile of the week member I would again like to thank all that voted for me and also I would like to thank Reverend Mandrake for the Badge. He has done an excellent job in keeping the Profile of the Week competition alive with his artistic skills and interpretation of the winners represented with his badges he creates! Thanks again.

Also I would like to thank Rev920 for dubbing me the nickname "Machine Man" Thanks Rev!

I also would like to mention the trade/collecting group on here. Wattos Trade Group. They are an excellent group of collectors and if you are into collecting/trading check them out.

On a last final note. I will be eventually working on finished picture of Image that was decided upon in my blog. I am going to be doing a really big piece of work to hang in my Star Wars Theater room. It may be a while as I haven't even got the canvas yet. I'm still deciding on what size to make this. Thanks to those who voted upon this.

Also since I can't have the Darth Mater-Tow Mater since there was only one made and sold at auction I decided to make my own custom. When/if I ever finish this project I will post image in my blog.
