Unfortunately, the name/title I thought quite original quite some years ago when I chose it, proved to be not nearly as unique as I'd hoped. I know, I'm not the only one online to claim the title of Empress Palpatine, but I hope I've created someone different from all the others.



Samantha, Empress Palpatine, is the daughter of Palpatine, Emperor. She was born to one of many female, personal slaves kept by the yellowed-eyed, deathly pale Sith. For years she was considered the most powerful her full and half siblings (known as the Palpatine Bastards), and enjoyed many luxuries and indulgences denied to others. The resentment she earned from the others only added to her inflated ego and sense of entitlement.



Until the events at Endor, she understood no true hardship. After the destruction of the second Death Star and the death of her father, Samantha found herself essentially lost in a galaxy in which she could claim no power. The existence of the Palpatine Bastards was always kept secret, to prevent their use in a coup against the Empire and Samantha was still too young and unknown to step forward and claim her title. With her father's death, her home and all sources of food, finances, and other necessities were gone.



In time, Samantha manipulated enough wealthy merchants, smugglers, and minor warlords to establish her own base of operations and begin making her own plan to take over the galaxy. There, before those siblings willing to swear loyalty to her, Samantha pronounced herself Empress Palpatine and declared war on those loyal to the former Rebel Alliance and especially on all connected to the Skywalker family.



It was also at her coronation that Samantha, Empress Palpatine, revealed what she'd spent years painstakingly researching. Darth Vader did not die on the Second Death Star or Endor. He lived still. And she would have her revenge on him personally.
