Story of Tao
His mind and wisdom
May never sever.
Of the Shumari, he is born,
To uphold the Jedi Code,
He has sworn.
To his dismay, at a young age,
All was taken from him
In mighty rage,
Everyone he thought as kin.
His master slain by a saber,
Red with death and evil,
Servant of Vader.
None got away, hiding was feeble.
Rage filled the boy's heart,
Vengeance drove his actions,
It stopped before it began to start,
Vader could feel the boy's reactions.
He saw potential in the kid,
In the future, of Jedi's
Tao would help the Galaxy rid,
All could be foreseen in his hollow eyes.
His Apprentice Tao became,
Together as one,
Destruction they could rein,
Almost like father and son.
Yet no anger could be felt,
No sign of hate,
Vader could vividly tell,
Soon the boy will meet his fate.
And soon the Emperor found out,
About a secret Apprentice of the Dark Lord,
To prove his allegiance Vader ought
To strike the boy with his mighty sword.
Resistance was futile, Tao knew,
Yet instinct did not care,
And a blue saber he drew,
Only to be swept away by the force of air.
Vader was relentless and struck true,
The boy had no chance of living,
After the fall, the red saber withdrew,
The Emperor, laughter he was giving.
The Dark Lord felt loss,
At the same time nothing,
Mourning he dare not emboss,
Except emptiness, that only something.
Secretly Vader fled,
To the wasted world of Shumari,
To unleash the painful dread
He felt inside himself.
He lay the dying one before him,
To get a last saddening look
At his latest sin,
Who still thrived and shook.
Not long before something tried to strike Vader,
A Tusken with a lightsaber,
A last survivor of a tribe of Raiders,
Death, the bandit dared cater.
Vader knew his time had come,
Death was knocking on his door,
It would be the final sum
Of the evil and destruction he bore.
Until something struck the Tusken,
With a saber no doubt,
It was the dying Tao,
His victim let out no shout.
Then the boy collapsed
For the final time,
Never to have another physical relapse,
Fate gave the final chime.
The Dark Lord buried the youngling,
Erected a statue in his honor,
To show Shumari had one final something
Had no showing of somber.
"Tao" the monument said,
The great Jedi, the Perfect Evil,
Was finally put to rest.
