last time we met i was but the learner now i am the master
you are the quietness that taunts my mind
everything i hoped to leave behind
the darkness approaches the walls close in towards me
you are the phantom the ghost of my memory
ever darker you were the light inside
now you are the memory i try so hard to hide
you gave me hope you gave me love
i wanted to give you my best and all above
have the walls stopped or have they fallen
perhaps they are the obstacle and i have been
stalling
can you share in what you believe
as i listen my heart begins to heave
you are my quietness now i am relieved.
