I've never posted one of these type blogs. Maybe it's time I do so. Hmm.... What to write.
I am fifteen year old currently living in Wausau, Wisconsin. You may or may not be able to tell from some of my posts that I have ADHD and ADD. It makes me kind of weird, but normality is the absence of personality. I have loved Star Wars as long as I can remember. Why? I don't know. Maybe it's because I've always had a fascination of airplanes, rockets and space that I liked it. There are numerous times that I've gotten in trouble at school for my aeronautical endeavours. Over the years it has become quite a science to me. Last year was the most and best I've ever done. I was making my pens and pencils fly during study hall. I've always been good at improvising things. This was just one example. People always tell me that my stuff isn't going to work, but they're usually wrong. My pens actually fly very well, and they're only made from school supplies.

I never achieved powered flight like I hoped to, but I was coming close. The school year ended before I could. I had a propeller made from a rubber band, notebook wire, a pen tube, a paperclip, and tape. I never made one powerful enough to have an effect. It was little more than a personal fan. I think it's mostly because of my ADHD that I've gotten in trouble for having my own little projects during class. I get bored to easily, and it's fun.

I have also built several rockets (not during class!). I've practically grown up with them. My dad got into it back in the '80s, and my brother soon followed. Now the job has sort off fallen to me to carry on. So aeronautics makes up a large part of my life. Directly linked to it is my interest in astronomy. I can identify most of the constellations in the northern hemisphere. Ever since I saw pictures of nebulae (which is before I can remember), I was interested. I couldn't believe that something so incredibly beautiful could possibly exist. I thought they were just artists' paintings at first. This only supplemented my desire to understand how the universe worked. Eventually, I heard about atoms. Then, when I found out what they were, and how they made up almost everything, I started figuring out a sequence. We were made of cells, cells were made of molecules, molecules were made of atoms, what were atoms made of? Naturally, I found myself into particle physics (in third grade!). Until seventh grade, I was probably the only person in my school who knew what a meson was.

Of course there's only so much a third grader can comprehend. I have gone back and looked at some of that stuff. It still intruiged me (I don't think I spelled that right). I found that I couldn't really comprehend much more than I had back then, but it did make a bit more sense. You'd be amazed at the simplicity of the basics of it. I think I'm starting to really think on a deeper level. I didn't think this blog entry would get this long. (LOL) As you can tell, I was a bit of a nerd. School was incredibly easy for me until I got put into the advanced classes. Second grade was the worst. I was in a class with stupid people (at least from my point of view), and the teacher had to review back from kindergarten. I aced every spelling test because we used the same list we used in first grade, and I remembered the words. People are still amazed at my memory, especially when I talk about preschool. I know more about them than they do. People find it a bit creepy.
