History
Marcus Scaevola was born on Agamar, the first of three sons. He was brother of Ansom and Gav Scaevola, and son of Gaium and Dira Scaevola. The Scaevola were a proud and headstrong clan of farmers, and were among the first to settle Agamar. They clung strongly to the past, and held a tradition of giving the eldest son an ancient, honorific name. Marcus left his home as a young man, leaving the pristine agriworld of Agamar behind, a place he would seldom visit later in life. He sought his fortune as a treasure hunter in the waning days of the Old Republic. After a series of catastrophic failures and great dissapointments, he moved to Corellia and opened a repair shop outside of Coronet, shelving his dreams of greatness to scrape a living from legitimate work, which he'd shunned in his youth on the farm. After a year or so of business, he'd met a young woman named Seras Demostrata, who's family lived in Coronet's skid row, running a delapidated market. Seras was a middle child, with a younger sister named Vatari, and an older brother named Zann. Their father was Harloth Demostrata, who's own father came to Corellia after leaving Coruscant, after the last vesiges of the Demostrata family fortune had been spent. Their mother was Ellia Demostrata, who's maiden name was Bailo, and her family immigrated to Corellia several generations earlier from Nar Shadda. After Marcus and Seras seeing each other for several months, Seras found herself pregnant. Marcus decided this a good time for them both to skip town and move away from the slums of Corellia, and they flew to Naboo together, marrying shortly after arrival. They opened up a supply store in an immigrant-dominated neighborhood in Theed, near the spaceport. Business was not swift, but it held them afloat financially. Seras had a daughter a couple months after moving to Naboo, whom she named Hala, after her mother. She was followed roughly five years later by her younger brother, Eusobios. By this time, the Republic had been supplanted by the Galactic Empire. Seras was never entirely concerned with Galactic Politics, but Marcus saw the Empire for what it was: A tryrannical despotism. He quickly became involved with local Rebels, using his store as a way-station for weapons and ammunition moving along Rebel supply-lines. Unfortunatly, however, the movement of such vast quantities of military-grade equipment arroused suspicion from the local Imperials. Their home was attacked, and they fled with a group of fellow rebel sympathizers, but were split up. Seras and Hala were bound for Tatooine, where they were sold into slavery some years later after a local Imperial governor found that they were traitors to the New Order. Marcus and Eusobios arrived on Nar Shadda, where they became rooted into yet another immigrant community. They are outsiders there, among the largely-Alien culture. After five long years on Nar Shadda, Marcus is approached by a gang of aliens, to whom he owes money. He instructs Euso to hide, which he does, watching the scene from behind a trash-dumpster. His father is stabbed repeatedly, then beaten to death with a large piece of metal. It was a scene that continues to haunt Euso, even as an adult. He left Nar Shadda, drifting along helplessly from place to place, doing odd jobs where he can, and currying sympathy where he can't. He is eventually befriended by a pair of Rodians on Tatooine, two brothers, Janniko and Adom Hullaos. Adom would be killed in a cantina-fight later that year, but Janniko and Euso would travel together for many years to come, forming a life-long (and rather unlikely) friendship. Janniko was a violent Rodian with a general hatred of humans, but still had a good heart, if he managed to get to know one personally, which he rarely did. Eusobios was kind-hearted, if not a bit angry himself, and took to petty crime because it's all he'd ever really known. The Rodian and the Human went on many great trips and missions, both alone and together ((which I'd like to do a blog on sometime, and get a bit more detail on all that)), but they eventually seperated when Euso had grown a bit older, and began to show signs of Force Sensetivity. He said farewell to his Rodian friend, who'd since opened a brothel on Nar Shadda, and left for Coruscant to become a Jedi. He joined the NJO, and was apprenticed to a small, furry, and blue Jedi Knight, named Stitch. He was a wise Master who Euso deeply respected, and went on to train many padawans after Euso became a Knight himself. Among Stitch's later pupils were Gert Yonz, Slipshade Starstrider, Stad Euz, and Janio Both. Euso was, early in his career, not entirely serious, and was quick to arguments with the Sith. on Coruscant. Several such arguments led to the eventual beating of the silliness out of him. But, not all encounters with non-Jedi were so unplesant. He'd befriended several Mandalorians, who were under the banner of UCOM's Mand'alor, Beviin Manda'kote. Among the Mando'ade Euso'd come to know early on were Scathe Ordo, who gave him an old Sith lightsaber, which he'd treasure, until it was stolen by Darth Matic, who would come to play a large role in the Jedi's life. He only truely came into his own late in his time as a Jedi Knight, when he'd first begun to distinguish himself as a warrior, which would become his main focus as a member of the Order. While he prided himself on combat, Euso tended to view himself as a failure of a teacher. His first padawans were utter failures as Jedi, or at least failed to take their duty seriously: Kit Fisto, Alma Amii, and Catherine. The one padawan he was proud of was Tale Dakari (who was of no relation to Rose Dakari). Eusobios served the Jedi after attaining the rank of Masterhood as a Jedi Shadow, and, later, on the High Council. Not so long afterwards, however, Euso was forced to leave the NJO. He was accused by Jacen Molare and Luke Skywalker of being a spy for the Sith. Incredibly insulted, his sense of honor and pride caused him to leave, rather than defend himself against such ridiculous claims. Euso was a loner for some time after this, serving no one and no thing. However, he was soon drawn by Darth Selene, also known as Trinta Ramis, to the Dark side, a move fueled by curiosity, but mostly by anger. Anger at the Jedi, who he felt had betrayed him. He joined with Selene's band of Sith and Dark Jedi. He did not, unlike most who leave the light, change his name, or add the title "Darth" to his name, but rather kept the name Eusobios, likely because of the sense of tradition and honor his father had impressed upon him. But there is another reason, too, that Euso had fallen. He had fallen in love with Rose Dakari shortly before his fall, and even more shortly before her own fall to darkness. Rose Dakari hailed from the now-destroyed planet of Alderaan, and came from a large family there. She was also training a padawan at the time of her fall, named Anina Aroom, who's brother was named Lyki, who was a love-interest of Rose on Alderaan in their youth. But Lyki would later be known to the Jedi by another name... That of Darth Matic, and was responsible for Rose's embracing of the Darkness. She took a new name, Darth Erratik, and was poised to become an acolyte of Matic, as well as a lover, most likely (speculation on Euso's part). Seeing that Euso loved her, Rose used this to her advantage, and tried to use him to kill Matic, and even slept with him to try and achieve that end. However, towards the end of Euso's term as a Dark Jedi, Rose began to see she had fallen in love with Euso, as well. He left Selene's place of dwelling, the old complex of Darth Eversio, and became, yet again, a rogue. Their love eventually caused Rose to forsake the ways of the Sith, and the two of them stayed Orderless, for some time. But a new dawn was set to rise, and the Knights of Ashla formed on Dantooine. Euso was asked to become a member of their Council and, later, one among the Triumvirate. Rose and Euso went to dwell at the Jedi Enclave with many comrades and friends, Ithilwen, Lel, Augustus, G-Man, Starkiller, Lilian (who Euso did not know particularly well), Katra, and many others ((sorry if your name's not in there, I didn't feel like putting the whole KoA roster in my blog, lol)). Euso eventually forgave the transgression against him by the NJO, after hanging on to his anger for a long time, and holds home that the NJO (now reformed as the JO, or Jedi Order) may one day come together with the Knights of Ashla, and that they may be united again. He is also the 'official' Caretaker of the Archives at the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine, but has little time to see to his duties, and relies on a droid to keep the library running. He occaisionally flies to Bonadan for visits to his family there. His Sister had come to dwell there, after the death of their mother, and was esentially stuck there in Corporate Servitude. Hala bore two sons, the elder named Telephos, and the younger called Voren, as well as a daughter, named Dira, for her great grandmother.
