As of yesterday, I surpassed the 170 hour mark in the only game I have for my playstation 3: Soulcalibur 4. I think that I have reached my point in the game in which I won?t get any more progress with my edgemaster skills that I have in the game. I have long since gotten all the weapons, special equipment, ?honors?, artwork, and the clothing you can get in the game without hooking it up to the internet. All the story modes have been played through to the end several times over, the tower of lost souls has been ascended and descended countless times. 95 out of a possible 100 treasures have been unlocked (what I haven?t unlocked yet is just money. Money that I can?t use). The treasures that I still have to get are the ones you get at the 35th and the 40th floor respectively when you descend the tower and a few treasures on the upper floors. The floors themselves are very hard even for me, and it took me 3 weeks to just clear floors 57, 58 and 59. Forget trying to get the treasure on the 59th floor. You can have it at that rate. The other treasures that I have still yet to unlock I have made my final decision that I?m not going to peruse them any further as they are too difficult to reach. I have tried, but in-game money isn?t important to me to attempt day after day. I have played Starkiller enough to be proficient in his style and I can fake my way around the ring when I play as Darth Vader. The bonus characters are just styles of existing characters (Seong Mina, Nightmare, Amy, Astaroth and Cervantes). I think that the other 20 or so characters that you could play were a good balance between each other. Each one has nifty moves that are effective at times in the game when you are playing vs or a hard computer opponent. I picked up Maxi?s style and brushed up on my Cervantes for a couple of missions, too. I will play it a few times here and there just to keep my skills up at what they are now.
