I will be hosting a second podrace at Boonta Eve on Tatooine. The first race, even though I threw it together at the last moment, was a big hit! Boonta Eve Podrace event 1 I'd like to set up a date and time for the second event, so more people can check with it LIVE! If anybody has a time and date they want the event to run, you can leave a comment, either below or in the guestbook! Thanks for all the members that attended the first and all the others that came by to check out the replay! I had a lot of fun putting this together and I personally want to thank Ikrit, for being a great sport and participating, and General Crystal Starr Light, for broadcasting the event at the Starlight Officers Club! She will once again broadcast this second event and will add a bigger and better prize. See her page for more details! Right now, I'm shooting for either the last week of August (Tuesday and Friday are out, though) or after the Labor Day weekend, maybe the first week of September, starting with the first tuesday. Luckily, a RP podrace should only last a few hours or so, so it should be no problem getting the whole event to fit within a day!! I will increase the cash prize, there will be two prizes this time, instead of one, since Crystal Starr Light is giving away two prizes for 1st and 2nd place. Along with her prizes, 1st place will win 50,000 credits and a shiny golden trophy and 2nd place will win 20,000 credits and a shiny silver trophy! Sign up here! Calling all podracers! Also, if you're interested in trying out pod racing, but you've never done it before, check with General Crystal Starr Light, she has started a training course with pod racing. You can practice with a pod racer you might have built or acquired, and someone can give tips on how to be the best racer possible! This is my current pod racer. It was custom built by Irkit. After he won the 1st event, he gave it to me. I tested it out and found out his engines could top out at about 1200 mph, which is rather dangerous, so I tweaked the engine and fuel system so it won't exceed 750 mph. One rule that will be enforced in any race I host, is that any pod racer cannot exceed Mach 1, or 770 miles per hour top speed. If your pod racer can exceed 750 mph, please adjust the top speed down or face disqualification! The main reason I'm enforcing this rule is for safety and to be fair to the other racers, zipping around the track at over Mach 1 will cause shock waves to ripple through the track, and such high speed is difficult to maneuver.

I also wanted to thank all the new friends I've met on the World of Star Wars realm. This has been the most enjoyable summer I've had in years! I especially want to thank the Best Collection Award committee, the Star Wars Addicts, Watto's Club, Jedi Master Luke Skywalker and his new Rebel Alliance faction, as well as the new friends I've started chatting with! I've also been amazed to be part of a small group of talented artists over at Deviantart.com with Darth Mater, Inara Jinn, Cy Ndakiel and Mezhan Kwaad!
