What is the point in creating a character so importnant to the EU JUST to have her killed off by a dweeb like Jacen Solo. Her death was not only unnecessary and pointless, but also a waste of one of the EU's favorite characters.

And the way she died was just as absurd. Mara was the toughest woman in the entire SW universe and she is POISONED? Even the Yuuzhan Vong could not do that, yet Jacen underhandedly is able to succeed!? Come one, EU writers, give me a break!!!! You expect us to believe Mara is THAT WEAK?

I say BRING MARA BACK!!! It CAN be done. Writes of EU books, listen to a loyal reader and know that there are petitions out there to bring Mara back. I have signed them.

And while you are at it, bring Anakin Solo back. He is probably the most powerful Jedi in the EU, would have done such great things and made the EU more fascinating, plus he started the Jedi Battle Meld. He had so much potential that it was practically dripping from him.

I am highly disappointed in the EU. Killing off popular characters is really unintelligent. And to the authors who did it...SHAME on you!!!
