The Amaranthine Star

I dreamt of a Star so brilliant and pure yet with a shade
of deep purple to show its majesty.
Something in me revealed to me
that the Star would never die nor fade.
It would give renewed purpose, renewed souls, renewed minds
and would fill the black hole a collapsed star left behind.

When I awoke from this dream or maybe to this dream, I found I could no longer hide away with my people of Sh'Shuun (aka Lao Mon). I began longing to fulfill the purpose that the LifeStar revealed to me. I saw a vision of my old self breaking away like dried clay, and a brilliant light bursting forth from me.

So, I left Sh'Shuun and the Shi'Ido (my people) behind to learn the role I must play in the Galaxy. Some Shi'Ido have used their shapeshifting abilities to serve as spies and assassins for corrupt people, or to serve their own selfish purposes. I will become all things to all people, to make them aware of the Light, and to direct them toward it. With my gifts and the Light inside of me, I hope to touch people's lives and dispel the darkness.
