No fan of FANBOYS

I had the opportunity to finally see Fanboys last night with the fam and I personally found it disappointing. In part, because it sterotyped the fans as lame slobs, broke and socially inept. What a joke? A joke is a joke but this was way too much overkill for 90 minutes. It reinforces a negative sterotype instead of the positives of this hobby. It would seem, Lucasfilm would do more to counteract such sterotyping in pop culture vs support it. It reminds you it is a problem when your 5 year old gets picked on by teenagers for wearing a SW shirt to a baseball game. In this economy, Lucasfilm should be protecting their fans images.
