This Firefly now features a rear Hyperdrive engine module, wing-mounted engines capable of vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL), a raised long neck forward section holding the crew quarters and bridge. The ship is amazingly maneuverable. The redesign can dock a pair of shuttles on the dorsal neck above the crew quarters. A number of modifications, notably the extenders below the wings of the ship to stabilize the rotating engines, and hold them further from the main body of the craft (which keeps the ship from shaking) and allowed for shuttle bays to be built into the sides of the hull above the wings. The main hull was significantly wided with two side-by-side main cargo bays in the main section. Aft of this section is the secondary cargo area which also accommodates 6 proper passenger staterooms, and can be outfitted with 12 berths or 24 detention cells. The modification allowed for the addition of a dedicated land vehicle bay, a cargo elevator, and a small hydroponics garden that is used partly to grow Tannot Root. The two main cargo bays are modular, and can be adapted to pick up and drop off standard cargo modules without anyone entering the cargo bays themselves.
