Finished The Clone Wars Young Adult Novel

As I said previously, it was a simple and fairly dry read. I enjoyed it, and I am looking forward to the movie. But it just was a little too plain.
The straight description of events from the movie does not translate well from the movie medium to the novel medium. For example, I'd read a scene and see the same scene in a trailer or something, and the visuals and sounds effect from the trailer made an OK written scene much more powerful and exciting.
It is a visual story, which Is why I believe Traviss's version, which does much more than describe scenes from the movie, should be much more interesting. I am fan of her work as it is, and I am really looking forward to reading her take on The Clone Wars.
For now, I will return to Coruscant Nights. I am hoping for a strong end for a book that starting out really fast paced and interesting, but since, has been, for me at least, a bit of a chore to get through.
