Halfway Through Shadow Academy, Corsucant Nights I SF Site Review, and Clone Wars Tonight!
Finished Heirs of the Force (great introduction to the series and the main characters), and I am already halfway through The Shadow Academy.
I am really enjoying the Young Jedi Knights Series. While maybe a little predictable at times, the stories are very well constructed, and they flow really well. The writing practically pulls you through the tale on it's own. Plus I am just really enjoying reading how the various bonds between these characters developed. Still haven't gotten to Zekk yet, who doesn't show up until the next book in the series, The Lost Ones, but I am looking forward to it.
I found a review of Coruscant Nights I on the mid-August edition of The SF Review Site. It includes a link to Micheal Reaves's homepage.
Speaking of reviews, I'll be posting my own review of The Clone Wars, which I am finally going to see tonight. It has been shred apart by the critics, but there seems to be a very dichotomous mix of reviews from the fans: they either totally love and think it better than some of the prequel films or really hate it.
I'm totally excited to see it, but I I'm also a little nervous whether I'll like it or not. But I am having a hard time seeing how I will not.
I guess we'll see.
