It's amazing how death can put things into perspective. You have a lot of time on your hands to think about the things you should have or shouldn't have done. Darth Ire finding me was the best thing that ever happened to me but at the same time was also the worst. Colton Qel-Droma died that day and Darth Acheron was born. A blessing and a curse wrapped in the same blanket. If Daala had not destroyed the life I knew I might be a Jedi today.

As many of you may have seen I was resurrected by Sith methods...however that does not make me Sith any longer. I may have a mixture of my and Ire's blood running through my veins but it doesn't mean my affinity for the dark side will continue. In fact I have weighed this greatly in the time I recently was provided and have come to a decision to offer myself for membership to the Grey Jedi Order. The balance they offer is what I truly seek. Not dark, not light, only the Force.

As for Darth Havoc it is a shame my and Ire's plans called for his corruption and ultimately his death. Havoc was actually never really my son. While adopting my studies of the Krath on Koros Major I would regularly walk the streets of the capital and one day I discovered the boy through the Force. He was a weak minded fifteen year old with no future but showed a glimpse of Force ability I could not ignore. I took him (involuntarily mind you) and wiped his memories and placed new ones inside his mind. His real name was Soran Ravic, not Satal. His mother died in childbirth, not by my hand. I taught him over the years minimal lightsaber skills but filled him with the knowledge of Sith Knowledge and Alchemy knowing these skills would be necessary for him to help me achieve final victory. As I told Ire, he was only a means to an end.

You see, I knew I had to die to achieve true understanding. My master told me my final trial was to die and be reborn. Only then could I have a true understanding of the Force. My fights with Ire were planned, move by move, to convince others I was weak and frail and not worthy so that when I made my return others would learn just how wrong they had truly been. I would ultimately prove to be worthy and I feel I have. Ire has never stopped being my friend and mentor. Everything else was a lie, a crafty backhanded lie but a clever one at that and I know we fooled a lot of people. I am sorry for that even though I also think it was the crux of the plan and was sometimes really fun to do. People had to believe we hated each other and we achieved that.

What is the plan now? I have none. I'm done proving myself. My only goal is to hopefully join with the GJO and learn the true nature of the Force. For now I will keep the name Acheron but I will no longer use the Sith honorific of Darth. Besides I never liked the name Colton. We'll see if that changes.
