One Day...

-From the Krath Resurrected Thread in Sith Unite-

*Acheron reaches down and offers his hands to lift Aeron up, his eyes have grown misty and surprisingly brown, he looks at her with the look of someone seeing a long lost friend for the first time in years*

Yes, I'm here. And I'm sorry.

Aeron looks at him, her eyes still producing offending tears. "Why are you here?" But instead of waiting for an answer she flings herself into a tight hug. She has noticed the change of his eyes, lovely brown eyes again. "Colton ... " her voice breaks.

*Colton can't help it, he starts to cry along with her, both sharing their losses for the first time as he holds onto her caressing the back of her head nonchalantly, he holds her for what seems like an eternity just letting the tears flow, when she speaks his name, his true name, he looks down into her greenish-golden eyes and sniffles some of the tears away* Hi.

...and with that simple greeting Acheron turned back from the dark side and for the first time since he was 7 years old became Colton Qel-Droma once more. He had sought to quell the pain he felt inside over the loss of his beloved daughter Sariee and his friend Zekirah by turning to the dark side, siding with the dreaded Yuuzhan Vong, and plotting the destruction of the Grey Order who he blamed for keeping him from being able to save his family.

What Acheron had not counted on was the love of his good friend Aeron and the loss that she had felt upon Tuskers' leaving of the Order. Unable to justify his own feelings of pain and agony and longing to alleviate Aeron's own similar feelings Acheron let go of the darkness and re-embraced the balance.

Now Colton is preparing to meet with the Grey Order with Aeron by his side to attempt to apologize and warn the Order of the plans of the Yuuzhan Vong, plans that Acheron willingly participated and helped to create. Colton only hopes his brethren will accept him once again and are able to prepare for the upcoming battle that will once again shape the face of the galaxy at large.

UPDATE:

Colton Qel-Droma has been regranted membership within the Grey Jedi Order assuming his former position of Silver Knight.

He assisted his brethren in the Battle of Zonama Sekot to fend off the forces of the Reconstructed Galactic Empire. This resulted in the death of Empress Athena at the hands of Zonama Sekot itself.

He and Aeron have also begun a romantic relationship spending more and more time together.
