Around the age of 11, she had realized that she could move things with her mind, had abnormally swift reflexes, and could sense things that the people around her could not. Her parents, realizing she was Force-sensitive but keeping it a secret from her, sent her to work in their factory. After a traumatizing 8 years spent inside the factory, Jaina ran away from her home, leaving her parents and younger sister, Ximea, behind. She heard stories about these people called the Jedi from cantinas and crowds, and immediately started seeking them out for help and guidance. Jaina joined the New Jedi Order at the age of nineteen and was first apprenticed to Jedi Knight Macen Trigin. Because of several encounters with Moo and other problems, Jaina was reassigned to a new master, G-Man. Despite getting off at the wrong foot during their first meeting in the NJO Clinic, they became good friends and eventually fell in love.  Jaina had many ups and downs during her time as a Padawan. She, along with her friends and master, left the New Jedi Order and helped set up a new group of Jedi called the Knights of Ashla. She thought her life was perfectly balanced at the time. Then her master turned to the Dark Side unexpectedly and joined the Crimson Blade. Jaina tried her best to save the relationship and eventually helped him back to the Light, a final mission that earned her the title of Jedi Knight and reunited her with her love. Other mishaps continue to take place that make Jaina a stronger person. She thought her former master had been killed after a brutal explosion outside of McCool's Irish Tavern and a ferocious duel took place afterwards on Dantooine, with Jaina wanting vengeance on Moo. Jaina had relentlessly fought alongside her best friend Ben that day, attempting to protect the lightsaber christened "Pinkie" when Moo's reinforcements from the CB arrived. Jaina was seriously injured and remained in a comatose state for several days after, being a mental and physical mess. It turned out that her former master wasn't really dead, merely stranded and that the explosion was another ship. Only a standard week later, Jaina was caught up in another duel against Verspia when her other best friend Hana turned to the Dark Side. Days after that, she participated in a long, exhausting duel against Morri and only minutes after healing, she dueled SK with Jes. Jaina reminds herself on a daily basis to think of these experiences as methods of learning. She regards pain as the best teacher and tries to never repeat past mistakes. Jaina either stays at the Dantooine Enclave, or the Telosian Academy, fulfilling her duties to the best of her abilities. She feels that the Force is telling her the future will be extremely difficult and that she needs to find her strength and herself. Jaina knows that she will do everything she can to protect the people she cares for, help the Knights of Ashla and Quicksilver, and will never turn to Darkness while working hard to become the best Jedi she can become.   |
