The story of Petra Skywalker Kenobi is as follows:

She was born to Corla and Cane Adiss on Serenno; her blood sister, though she wouldn't know it until years later, was Siri Tachi, fellow padawan and friend of Obi-Wan Kenobi. Petra was abandoned on the planet on which Shmi Skywalker originated, it is unknown and since Petra was only five at the time, she doesn't remember where or what the name of the planet was. Petra became a Skywalker at that point. She was approximately 8 years of age when Anakin was born. AT the time of Episode I, she was 17 years old. After anakin won the podrace, which in turn, won her and Anakin their freedom by Qui-gon jinn, she met Obi-Wan Kenobi and helped him fix the hyper drive. Before the battle of naboo began, Obi-wan and Petra confessed their love for one another, but decided not to deal with it at the time. After Qui-gon was killed, they married one another partly out of convenience, partly out of love. They welcomed a son, Zett Jukassa, one-two years later but enrolled him in the Jedi Order before he was a week old. three years later, they had another son, Luke, but also enrolled him in the order.

Petra was involved in the beginning of the Clone Wars, as she had accompanied Obi-Wan on his mission to find the bounty hunter that had killed Zam Wesell. She went along mainly as a translator, as Obi-Wan was unfamiliar with Huttese and several other languages which she was fluent in. The Jedi council authorized her "tagging-along" and the two set out for Kamino. After visiting with the Prime Minister, and Jango Fett, they returned to the fighter and sent a message back to Coruscant, informing Yoda and Mace Windu of Obi-Wan's suspicions. While Obi-wan went to try to arrest and take Jango fett into custody, Petra stayed behind in teh fighter. Obi-Wan came back, told her that he had failed to capture the bounty hunter, and climbed back into the fighter. They followed the homing beacon signal that Obi-wan had left on the bounty hunter's ship. when they landed on Geonosis, the planet Jango Fett landed on, they were shocked to discover Count Dooku meeting with the Trade Federation adn other allies. They returned to the fighter to send a message back to coruscant, but before they could complete the message, they were captured. Petra was beaten in order to try to sway obi-wan, but through her incessant pleas for him NOT to side with Dooku, obi-Wan resisted, resulting in their order of execution. She was chained to a pillar beside Obi-Wan; and anakin and Padme when they were caught tryign to help the two in distress. However, she, like Padme, managed to escape teh nexu releasead on her and it was killed when her pillar crushed it to death. She and Obi-Wan fought side by side when the Jedi arrived to help them, but when the gunships arrived with the clone troops, she was separated from the other Jedi and was captured yet again by Dooku.

In the following days and weeks, she was taken to Asajj Ventress, one of Obi-Wan's most hated enemies. She was tortured and beaten mercilessly, and nearly died, had it not been for the rescue attempt by Obi-Wan, Siri, anakin, and Padme. Obi-wan insisted on going in alone, adn therefore, was captured and tortured in exchange for Petra. Petra was released and anakin and the other two women took her back to coruscant, waiting for the right time to go back to Obi-Wan's aid.

They, without the help of Petra, eventually rescued obi-wan, but at a price. Siri was killed by the bounty hunter Magus, and Obi-wan was with her in her last moments; she gave him her lightsaber which contained a blue warming crystal. Obi-Wan had never told Petra of his involvement with Siri but once he returned to Coruscant and recovered from his injuries, he told her of everything Siri had meant to him. While angry with him for not telling her the truth, she eventually forgive him, and Siri, and several years later, discovered the truth that would shake what little foundation she had left.
