Obidala
Obidala. Wondering what it is? simple: Obi-Wan+Padme=a happy me and others. Before you think it is "just another fan-created pairing" it actually WAS supposed to be in the prequel films. Why? Well...I think it was to play up Anakins jealousy; especially in Episode III. It was eventually discarded since Lucas already had had a love triangle in episodes 4-6. Disappointing, but there are still "sneaky" hints in the films. A deleted scene for Episode III reinforced the Obidala idea. Padme, in another deleted scene for Ep. III, when she suggested to tell the Jedi she trusted, we disagree with Lucas; because in our opinion *and I always thought this* it was Obi-Wan who she trusted, not Anakin, which Lucas commented that it was Ani. Ugh. dont skirt around it...we all KNOW it was Obidala-meant. =D
As I've said before, ANYTHING anakin\Padme related is DISGUSTING. The whole romance was unbelievable, and quite frankly, gave me a cavity. Padme was unbelievable in her "falling in love and admitting it" thing. I mean, seriously: who ignores this kid in the beginning, then decides "Oh, it's not so bad if I marry him." *gags* Lucas had a pretty horrible script anyways but that just drug it down even more.
Give me Han and Leia anyday. At least theirs is somewhat believable.
