Brassk Gila's Profile »
Brassk's First PvP Kill -- The First of Many?
Up until now, Brassk Gila has just been minding his own business, trying to make a name for himself by completing quests and such -- doing jobs for Jabba and his henchmen, the occasional beast hunt for the Imps, that sort of thing. But last night, while exploring the Great Pit of Carkoon, he was approached by some female -- human I think, but hard to be sure, as she had a hood or something over her head -- named Dier'dra approached Brassk. At first she taunted him to get closer to the pit, which Brassk, not being a moron, refused to do. As it was, the sarlaac had belched out some kind of noxious cloud, and he wasn't feeling well. Then Dier'dra made a big mistake...
She called Brassk a coward and challenged him to a duel. Just a few seconds later, she lay dead at Brassk's feet.
Now, to me, most of the PvP stuff is just little kids trying to puff up their chests in a computer game. Whoop-dee-do. I, as the player, would simply laugh such a challenge off, but Brassk? Hardly. I figured a bad-assed Trandoshan commando would never take such a thing so lightly.
Besides, I have to admit, killing her was kinda fun.
I'll be accepting duel challenges from now on, as long as there's some rp element that goes into it, not just some twerp running up and challenging without so much as a word.
Oh, and a quick note to you level-90 jackasses who like to challenge characters of much lower level, just so you can smack 'em around for a bit of what you consider "fun": Go crap in a swoop helmet.

Wee-poo McPlop? Sweet jeebus...posted Dec 20, 2007 8:15 AM | Report Abuse - Mezhan Kwaad
The ammount of times i've been challenged by some idiot standing in the spaceport on coronet, well I couldn't count them before I ran out of fingers. A particuarly memorable one was a Mr Wee-poo McPlop ( VERY Star Wars name there, she said with much sarcasm!) who ended up shouting insults at me as I told him I didn't accept duels from non RP-ers. It's a shame that there are not more role players there it really is, as IMO that's what the game was designed for. It has so much potential! Yet it's saturated with people like the one I just mentioned. *le sigh* I do wish people would check the profile before aimlessly clicking on one of my low level characters because they'd be an 'easy kill' for kicks. Honestly guys, where IS the challenge in that? It's nice to see your RP your Trandoshan really well though :D extremely refreshing, perhaps he could pay us a visit at the NJO rp I have set up ;)posted Dec 11, 2007 11:57 AM | Report Abuse
