So I made a terrible mistake, but what was I supposed to do? Rumors were flying that he was going to fight to the death and never come back. Our bond was stretched thinly that I lost touch with him. I leaned on Casey for emotional support, but Casey couldn't work magic on filling that huge void in my heart. Then Garik came into the picture but honestly it was not the same.

That night, he came home and we were finally going to be the family that we were destined to be. Then that hunk of tin metal Twikki came and blew everything out of proportion and he ran off. He did the one thing that I swore I would never allow him to experience: he turned dark. His hatred for me literally killed me emotionally and I was not in any position to be around people. So with the help of Casey, I faked my death and made everything think I was really gone. Casey did a great job pretending and apparently I heard he caused such a mess at my cousin Grainne's wedding (which I still need to apologize and pay for it).

At my memorial, he went and "paid" his respects to me. Then he goes and threatens to take my son from Casey and that moment, I knew I had to come back to protect him. With Casey and Garik's help, I am training and ready for that fight we will have. He's a changed man but our bond says he's still the man that I love inside. Whatever the force tells me to do at that point, I will do but whatever it will take to protect my son I will do it.
