Personal History:

Born on Tattooine and raised in a fairly normal family. He completed his primary and secondary schooling and continued to study as a philosophy apprentice under famed galactic philosopher and consul Professor Padrig Hillor.

During his off time between his studies he would spend time learning the smuggler trade under his uncle Galen Kerax, where he first got his taste of the smuggling life. Often he was assigned fairly benign tasks such as smuggling supplies and other contraband which wasn?t considered to be too dangerous. During one such mission he had gotten his first taste of battle when he encountered a Sith Destroyer waiting on the other side of a hyperspace jump point. After taking a few shots of turbo laser rounds and with his uncle at his side he was able to skillfully maneuver the Harmzuay out of danger and jump out in front of the destroyer before it could lock on with Tractor Beams

At the age of 25 he had completed his tutelage under Prof. Hillor and went to work full time as his uncles 3rd in command. It was during this period of 3 years that he gained respect and notoriety by making the most dangerous smuggling runs right under the nose of the Sith. His reputation for outrunning destroyer class vessels and delivering goods on time helped elevate him to the heir apparent in Kerax?s operation.

Because of his illegal dealings he had many run ins with Jedi and Sith alike. He had learned about the ways that these force sensitive individuals could pull information from his mind and therefore outwitting him and sabotaging his operations.

Around the age of 30 he went back to his old professor for answers. It was during this period time he had learned about the power of force dampening creatures known as the Yslamari. The problem with the Yslamari is that moving them around was not easy. The creatures had to be attached to a nutrient source at all times or they would die within minutes. Through his long research his professor had come up with a theory of extracting the midichlorian dampening plasma from the creatures. The process was expensive and would result with the demise of the host. Fortunately creature cloning was a lot easier and less expensive than human cloning.

At the age of 33 Xorix had a full cloning facility set up and was producing Yslamari in bulk. The plasma would remain in his blood stream for a matter of minutes before being destroyed by white blood cells so this posed a problem. After many failures he along with a biological scientist from Corellia designed a pump system that would start and keep the plasma flow steady at a seconds notice. Other biological symptoms would automatically start the flow as well. Such as raised electrical current, increased synapse firing in the brain, and sudden blunt trauma to the body.

The scientist bio implanted the pump into Xorix's chest and directly connected it into his Aorta. The pumps reservoir could hold enough plasma for 3 days and was refilled through a port just under his skin located next to his collarbone. The pump system was protected by a cortosis coated plasti-steel plate over his heart replacing his sternum.

Through testing this system proved to be the answer he was looking for when dealing with force sensitive beings. He would no longer fear the power of the force and he had now leveled the playing field. The force flowed around a 3 meter bubble surrounding his body while the pump was activated thereby dampening any effects of jedi and sith alike. The design of this pump system would be implanted into the system itself to ensure another such device could ever be made. And of the scientist?.. He has never been heard from since.

On Xorix?s 32nd birthday his uncle made a surprise announcement and handed over the reigns of his entire operation to his nephew. Galen was starting to age and he recognized the fight and determination in his nephew.

As the war between the Sith and Republic surged Xorix found himself in a position to profit. He began smuggling supplies to the besieged Jedi and republic alike. These operations while discreet put him on the radar of the Sith, and over time smuggling became more and more difficult.
