I looked over my collection and saw what an interesting lot I have. I've been wanting to to more "creative" stuff with my toys...the gunship photos were more of a sloppy dissection with a bit of play in the end, but as someone pointed out, the carpet kind of killed it. My latest BCA contribution, the Sandtrooper checkpoint in Mos Eisley was my chance to try to add a bit more to the scene. I started off looking at my collection and thinking, "What's from ANH that I can use?" Darth Vader...sure. Made me wish I'd picked up that set of Imperial officers on the Death Star. A recreation of the choke scene would have been awesome. No, don't have those. Some cantina patrons...no...nowhere near enough. You get the picture. Well being a clone collector I focused on my troopers. Ah...there we go, sandtroopers. A real easy scene would have been the "Look sir. Droids!" But I decided to try for something a little more lively. Wish I had a blue wall or something, but no, so I had to make do with an off-white door. Anyway, somewhere between the floor and ANH on pause, I tried to put a scene together. It's up in my photos as bca10-3.
